I just watched Secret Society II: Never Enough. The 2nd film of a three part series. It was quite interesting. It gives a great portrayal of the life of Trans women. As a Trans woman myself I truly identified with the story of Tina & Celess. The movie script showed our hardships and the fact we can overcome them and still have LOVE and compassion in our hearts from our CIS brothers and sisters. Si Si (Adejah Parrish) was played brilliantly. It was nice to show a story line that shows a CIS and TRANS can have unconditional love for each other. I also enjoyed seeing Derek Rossi ( Vincent De Paul). He showed that his bond with his former wife TINA (Erica Pinkett) was still vital and strong. He would risk a great deal for Celess (Reyna Love). Derek really cared about both of these ladies and added a realism along with diversity and inclusion . Stellar performance by Vivica A Fox, Black Chyna. Kelvin Hair, Jeremy Meeks and Tyler Hopkins... All and all a great movie. I can not wait for the third installment.. I appreciated the film makers showing the full spectrum of Trans lives that matter. Shea..
The second one I feel as though had no ending like a good ending this gone be just like true to the game and all them movies 🗣 I'm upset I feel it had no real plot.
The movie business has established a reputation of making movies by following standards that have nothing to do with creativity. Whatever "politically correct" implies, it will not affect the outcome, which is an awful pile of garbage in this situation. A terrible narrative and casting, as well as the mistaken idea that meritocracy is synonymous with political correctness.
To be fair to the beef, it's like forcing someone to eat fish as 50% of their regular diet. Regardless, the fish cannot be eaten. A film that is excruciating to see.

I have to say that I found the 2021 predecessor "Secret Society" to be a surprisingly entertaining movie, so of course I opted to sit down and watch the 2022 sequel, as I happened to have stumbled upon both movies at the same time.
First of all, it was nice that writer Miasha Coleman decided to do a direct continuation of where the first movie ended, so there was a good continuity between the two movies. However, the storyline in "Secret Society 2: Never Enough" wasn't really up to par with the storyline from the first movie. Nay, the storyline in this sequel felt like it was rushed and didn't have as much punch to it. So it was a fairly weak viewing experience, and the movie paled in comparison to the first movie.
The acting performances in "Secret Society 2: Never Enough" were a mixed bag of nuts, as some performances were quite adequate, while others were rigid, wooden and devoid of emotion.
It was nice to see some of the cast members from the first movie return to reprise their characters and roles from the first movie.
If you enjoyed the 2021 movie "Secret Society", then perhaps give "Secret Society 2: Never Enough" a viewing. It might just happen that you will find more enjoyment in the movie than I did.
My rating of director Jamal Hill's 2022 movie "Secret Society 2: Never Enough" lands on a four out of ten stars.

The movie focused on all elements of trauma in the lifestyle. To the film maker, keep doing your thing. Im just learning about this movie. So real and accurate. The script was written just the way we talk as blk folk and in the community. Im a native Washingtonian. Beautiful movie. Where are the next set of movies about anything.
These types of movies get judged for being too ghetto or too real or just not good enough for the standards of a good film. This is all based on a false sense of looking like a block buster film etc. If you change your perspective then you will have a better understanding of screenplay snd culture.
