Short review: Skrivesperre...

Skrivesperre... which means writing blockage, by Geir Henning Hopland is a kind of a quasi meta documentary short story about the screen writer himself and his trouble in getting word on the paper.

The whole title translated into Englingsh will mean something like "Writing blockage and artistic ambitions about a dog which has to die due to the sum of both".(Free translation).

Filmed in black and white, we follow the strange ways of the writer trying to deal with this, and come up with good ideas. It's told with humor and self irony in an entertaining way. Recommended in educational use, for film class or writing. Challenges the way of telling a story.
