Palash has brilliantly written and directed excellent screenplay actors has taken it to the peak. A story which is a total reality of how a person struggles to fulfill his or her dream. This film also shows what happens when you get rejected even after trying for years for your dream. I totally loved it. I have given 8 because somewhere I felt dialogues should have been a more impactful,but any how total presentation of film is beautiful.

Rajpal Yadav is in full form. Rubina Dillaik is fabulous when given a chance... Directions is Good.. For me it's very positive being small runtime but it's too small to develop full story.. Bollywood has wasted Rajpal Yadav that's what you will fill watching this movie..

Ardh is the story of Shiva, a struggling actor who wants to become a big star, but is not getting a chance to show his talent. So, he's doing every work he can do only for his living. So, it's not only a story of one Shiva as there are so many Shivas struggling around everyday in the city of dreams.

Palash Muchhal in his directorial debut has done a very good job. Yes, it's not a perfect film, but at the end the film has succeeded what it wanted to achieve, to feel for Shiva. That's because Rajpal Yadav has acted beautifully specially in the emotional scenes. Debutant Rubina Dilaik also supported very well. Finally, this movie is WORTH WATCHING.

Love this movie. It shows the reality of life. It has no unrealistic concept & this the best aspect of Ardh. Actors have done a great job. Rajpal sir, rubina, hiten everyone Just played their character so beautifully. According to me It's a must watch Movie.

Waiting since long to watch my Ruby debut so happy just to rate this movie I have downloaded imbd rating app for the first time to rate and off course rajpal Sir is hero of the movie love to movie cast.

A movie which shows us the reality of bollywood industry where only producer keep giving chance to their children only..... Rajpal sir has done an amazing acting and Rubina has also done an fabulous acting in her debut waiting to see more in future of her acting...... Must say the story is excellent.... It will make you cry, laugh and lot of emotions are present in it...... Atlast i want to say support real talent.

Jst finished watching it and it was a great movie with a great storyline. Rajpal Yadav is the soul of the film as he delivers an excellent performance we knw him only fr his comedy bt in this he has shown and proved how talented he is he has delivered a vry great performance 👌, Rubina Dilaik has debuted with this In film industry and she has done a decent job I wld say she a bit needs to polish her expressions and also to polish little bit her dialogue delivery bt nevertheless considering it's her 1st film she has given a good performance, Hiten tejwani is also vry talented and he gives a great performance as well in a vry limited screen time overall he was good. The film'z emotional plot was great and it's the film'z highest achievement, talking of the negatives i felt the director ended the film too fast especially whn the storyline was Getting grippy and emotionally strong as well. Nevertheless Ardh is a good film with amazing performance by Rajpal and a decent storyline, I rate it a 7.3/10 starz

Nice movie and songs are too good. Please support this movie. This movie proved that if your budget is low still you make a movie which can tears on your eyes. I suggest you please share this movie. If we are support true talent than our film industry will changed and better.

Ardh review :

Released on Zee5 this week, Ardh features Rajpal Yadav as Shiva, a wannabe actor who is detested for his height and below average looks. "Pehle body banake aaja", he is told at the auditions. To make ends meet and feed his family, Shiva becomes Parvati, the eunuch and begs on the streets. The film explores the sordid plight of all the strugglers for whom Mumbai and Bollywood is a dreamland which only a fortunate handful can succeed in..

While the execution is too simplistic and at times monotonous, the film elevates considerably due to its lead performances. Rajpal Yadav is brilliant as Shiva/ Parvati and effectively conveys the hapless frustrations of an out of work actor. Rubina Dilaik, playing his ever supportive wife, impresses tremendously in her first movie outing. She has a bright future provided she chooses her roles properly.

Even at one and half hours duration, Ardh gets repetitive at times but is able to highlight the harsh reality of struggles faced in this "Mayanagri" called Bollywood. It deserves a watch just for that!!

The movie is too sad in all aspects

As featuring rajpal Yadav and a promising trailer i decided to watch it but nothing was offered the story was struggling but presented in a extreme sad way ..you feel it's been shoot on a mobile phone..great actor like rajpal Yadav was wasted..there is no positivity in the movie and thus ended without any inspiration or a happy climax

Here the followers have madly rated 10 stars and reviews like me will be hated badly.

I loved the movie and Rajpal sir and Rubina Dilaik action skills are so good. This movie is all about how today bollywood works where a talented actors have to struggle a lot but the nepo kids gets the opportunity easily.

Story and acting is good but you will not find movie in a way that you gonna flow with it. Very common story but I am surprised that most of the people has given 10 rating, not sure why?

In love with the film, amazing cinematography And execution by Rajpal, Hiten and Palawan for his first directory debut hats off Last but not the least, Rubina you are the best, choosing this Heart touching movie for your first is a big achievement and the way you can carry any role and look in your projects, Rubina this is just the beginning you will slay Bollywood, can't wait to see you in more films and webseries you will do justice to any character. The movie has beautifully captured the widening gap between life and living of poverty stricken artist. Casting of the movie looks realistic as it represents a settled family having self respect but have lost in the economic compulsions of growing family needs. Beautiful wife, well groomed son and exhausted still cheerful husband shows that the family is gradually shifting into poverty.

This movie will show the dark secrets of Mumbai the city of dreams and Bollywood. You will love every bit of it. Rubina Dilaik the newcomer did great job, Rajpal Sir and Hiten Sir also did their part so well. A must watch movie. Go and watch on zee5 for free.

This movie is worth watching which gives us an insight of the life of a struggler. The characters are portrayed so well. All are so good with their acting skill be it rajpal sir , rubina ma'am or hiten sir. Fabulous job done by Palaash sir bieng his first as a director , comendable. Rubina should be praised to take up such a simple character for her debut but she has played the character so elegently. Palaash and rubina are going to have a beautiful journey ahead in the bollywood after a debut like this.
