Seo Ye Ji's comeback show, Eve, started off well in it's first few episodes where she plays the lead character Ra El, looking for revenge on those who had his life trampled upon. The first half of the show's plot development is fantastic. The pilot episode and the initial sequences, including the opening scene, all had a constant flow and a number of peaks. The show's plot thickens with each passing episode as Ra El accomplishes more of her goals. We must acknowledge the way in which the characters' pasts were handled during times of uncertainty.
It's sluggish in the later half of the show, but it keeps you engaged and curious about what's to come. I felt there was too much of romance and less of revenge story going on in 2nd half, which made me uninterested a little, however Ye Ji was phenomenal in her role and she portrayed it really well, which made me stick to the show very end. The penultimate and concluding episode were the weakest episodes of the drama and evidently doesn't compares tp to other revenge thrillers, this is not one to write home about and ultimately struggles to stand out.
My Rating : 7.5/10.

This series marked the comeback from an absurd scandal for the unique and stunning Seo Ye Ji. Lots of wonderful outfits for SYJ. Plus her acting is good. Love the way they make use of her Spanish and the use of tango and the composer Piazzola's music.
It's an often darkly comic mostly engrossing and entertaining revenge drama. The villain played by Yoo Sun is such a riot. Better villain than Cheon Seo Jin in Penthouse. Complicated relationship with chairman Kang who stares in such a funny way. Lee Sang Yeob is underused.
Don't take it too seriously and just enjoy!

The stylist for the main character was next level. Her outfits were stunning. And she looked like a supermodel sometimes. As the show went on her hair got darker and her skin got paler so she started looking like a sick vampire. Put in the beginning she looked very beautiful and stunning.
Then just the way the music is and the way they film it and just the cinematography it seems like it's setting up for deep poetry. The visuals and the pacing of this camera and the music is very very intense and poetic.
I feel like this show is worth watching just for the camera, music, and the visuals.
And it's just varied cool how they transport you into like a high and sophisticated beautiful high taste life.
I don't know how I feel about that acting. I think it might be good? But I've seen better in different shows so I don't know.
Now the plot was a bit hollow in the Middle with too much emphasis on her romancing her enemy and it dragging along with that for too much.
It seems kind of boring and hollow in the middle and kind of blah blah. It picked up with some drama towards the end.
It was kind of confusing how they were making it look like some people were in love when they didn't seem to have much interaction beforehand.
I didn't like their choice of making the main character female lead starting to seem like a psycho in the way that she talked and motioned her head and acted. I wish she just showed more righteous indignation rather than morph into some weirdo.
Even though she was very evil, the main villain I did feel sorry for her. Because she was distorted she came from my evil family and a evil father with all kinds of shenanigans and she was just like a overgrown spoiled child who was too dumb to know better than to be evil. I know in real life people have usually have consciences and they should know better but I don't know I did feel sorry for her.
I think they were trying to hard to be dramatic and in the end for effect to entertain the viewer and romantic in the middle to entertain your viewer. But it's not matching the cinnnography the camera work and the music and the visuals. Which is very sophisticated, high end and poetic. I wish they were more heavy on a poetic and profound plot like they were with some of the visuals and maybe just a tiny bit of the dialogue.
I feel like the show had more potential and becoming a more poetic deep thing instead of some sort of soap opera with some silly back and forth plotting and dangerous revenge violence.

Seo Ye-Ji is a great actress-and beautiful too just watch her eyes=like they talk-anyway 2eps in and hope carries on good bit stuck wondering on certain plot details-but by 16 i prob know why lol
ps cannot wait to find how they get from A TO B ETC.
So in the end, what started as a great drama about a vengeful woman turned into a farce. Really great storyline at the beginning. Seo Ye Ji as La El absolutely phenomenal. However, there was a turning point in the middle and the main character became a woman in love who competes with a psychopathic billionaire for the love of a man who has trouble showing any emotions. The male lead character showed almost no emotions or feelings throughout and it was quite difficult to believe that he was head over heels in love with the female lead. It's quite a pity that the goal of the series - revenge - completely disappeared in the second half and instead a typical love triangle appeared, where two absolutely phenomenal actresses compete for a man who, as I already wrote, did not show any relationship towards anyone during the entire series. ..
