I've literally never give reviews but this movie was so bad they should've paid me to watch it. There's no chemistry between all the characters and literally it looks like a five-year-old wrote it. If you want to do yourself a favor don't waste any more time than reading this review Because you're gonna be sorely disappointed. I'm very worried about the fact that I'll never be able to get the time back that I spent watching this horrible piece of work I should've get out my video camera and go ahead and film a movie because if somebody's getting paid for this junk I wish it was me I hope this helps somebody out.

Don't be fooled by the 10 ratings. Obviously that was seeded by the movie team. The 1 ratings are the authentic reviews. The acting is horrendous and cheap. Most of the time, the actors have a slight smirk on their face as if trying to make themselves look tough and unafraid. Their expressions don't seem real and it reminds you that they're acting, really bad acting. The music score at times doesn't really vibe with the scenes. The fight scenes don't seem realistic. You can actually see the step by step in the choreography with the pauses. The plot sounds good but is executed poorly. The camera work looks like a school project for cinematography.

Truly unwatchable.

Please don't be fooled by the early rating. This is really bad and it doesn't get better. They make you enter six hundred characters to submit a review, but there is nothing else to say. There is nothing that redeems this movie. Not the script, not the acting, not the production, not the soundtrack, not costumes - literally nothing.

About the acting - the lead in this movie and the impact to the entirety of the crew that support the movie industry are two good reasons to the hate the AI clause of the proposed SAG contract.

I hope you find a better way to spend 80 minutes.

First and foremost, what this movie lacks in depth, also lacks in containing a competent script with true acting. The storyline and characters felt one dimensional robotic and soulless. There is not one scene that felt well paced and the dialogue is choppy and as if lines were rehearsed without the element of true acting. With that, there is more cringy dialogue than action throughout the movie.

Another thing I noted is the "sound track". For the most part, it felt very generic and vanilla. Scenes that attempted to solicit any type of emotion utilized bland music that seemed to be taken from hallmark films or generic Arcade like music for sub par action sequences.

Long story short, I finished the movie to see if it would get even a smidge better as my family had rented it for movie night. And ultimately the movie got worse and felt longer than it's run time.

I'm less than a quarter through the movie and had to stop and warn others. This is an awful awful movie. Not even the fun type of awful, just the awful that leaves your soul wounded. Every word of every line is delivered like a 12 year old reading off a cue card. It's just so so dry and monotonous, and there is not a single line of dialoug that sounds natural. Every role is played by the most stiff actors they could find and higher. Every character as they talk show emotion like npcs from ps2 rpgs. It trys to take its self so seriously but comes off like it was written by chat gpt.thrnmajn characters bald cap doesn't even match his skin tone.

I love Richard T Jones in The Rookie so I was looking forward to this. He's only in it for about 3 minutes by the way and the rest of it looks like a student movie.

The concept has been done many times before. There's nothing new here.

The acting is appalling (especially by the lead actor). To say it is wooden would be generous.

Terrible script, terrible acting, terrible soundtrack, terrible directing, terrible stunts...you get the idea.

I'll tell you what this movie reminds me of: a low budget parody of a 1980's porn movie. There's a knock at the door, a buxom blonde answers the door and says "You must be the plumber". "Yes I am the plumber". That's kind of the level of acting on display here.

Save yourself the disappointment and find something else to watch.

Awful acting, dreadful music, a waste of 1 hour 16 minutes of my life.

So predictable and the characters are massively stereotyped and it's denegrating, Irish person, Black person, Chinese Person, it's like people of individual races can only perform one task 😡

Had to Google the lead character as thought he was putting an Irish accent on, turns out he isn't, it's really that bad and his acting is so wooden 😥

Even the action scenes aren't what you'd consider to be real action scenes, awful

Don't waste your time, there are better, dreadful movies out there 😂

This was a great action packed movie with a lot of suspense and an excellent plot. The entire cast did an amazing job! The movie kept my interest from the first scene to the very end. The cinematography was creatively and beautifully shot and the music was phenomenal. It truly envoked a lot of emotion in me. I'm excited to see what other films and shows are released by Ohlsen Productions. I honestly feel that this story can and should be turned into a sequel. There are so many characters that I'd love to see more of. If you enjoy action with a touch of comedy, I would highly recommend "The Hard Hit."

I would give this film a zero if I could. I can not think of a single redeeming thing about this film, actually yes I can the 75 minutes of run time, but even this felt more like 3 hours long. Everything about this film is bad. The plot, it almost has a very slow one which is so obvious its painful. The wooden acting is well wooden and awful in every way, the random wobble camera effect at least that makes you feel off balance so takes your mind off the film for a few seconds. The mind numbing back ground music, it's almost endless it will not just shut up and stop. All it needed to make it even worse if that is possible would have been a Steven Seagal guest appearance as a hero, actually that may have improved it just for the giggle factor.

I have never in my life seen such a pathetically bad movie. Stilted,wooden, acting doesn't begin to describe the performances in this POS. It's difficult to believe that any thinking person would finance this thing. The only reason it has one star is that there is no provision for a zero, or negative numbers, which this so richly deserves. Any casting director who has the misfortune to have to watch this, and still hires anyone from this thing, should be tossed out of the profession and never work in film production again. An AI chatbot could write a better script than was used in this pathetic excuse for a movie.

If you were lucky enough to have seen 'The Lawnmower Man' (not the Stephen King version), directed by Murda Pain (no, I'm not joking), then congrats. You've seen one movie that is worse than 'The Hard Hit'. There is absolutely nothing about this movie that isn't terrible. I literally got up to use the bathroom in the beginning, during the scene where the Irish guy is with his family in the front yard. I was certain that this was a commercial for some sort of medication. The acting was atrocious, the dialogue worse. Even the music was embarrassing. I watched about 15 minutes before turning it off.

Oh what an awesome movie!!! The whole cast of characters were incredibly superb... especially Jamie Ohlsen, she is such a bad a$$.. I liked Jerry G. Angelo's character a lot... I think he is such a cutie!!! I also enjoyed the little comedic action of Rob LaColla Jr... It was action packed from the get go to the very end and what an ending it was, it left me hanging and anticipating for what is yet to come...I can not wait for the sequel... How long do I have to wait for it??? What really got me was the music!!! It was epic and had me sitting on the edge of my seat... Come on people, this movie is very entertaining and I highly recommend it...

Fun action movie. It has great action and the writing is awesome. Acting is on point actors are having fun with it. Heartwarming and sweet , the children actors were great. Directors knew what they were doing. Very fun movie akin to action movies of old. Just pure adrenaline, moved at a great pace. The editing was fantastic and I really had fun watching it. I look forward to a possible sequel that is set up at the end.

This movie has humor, heart and overall is just a really fun watch. I would recommend it for anyone looking for something out of the norm and a throwback to cool fun old action movies.

I enjoyed this movie or episode! I'm not sure if the plan is a series, but I think so. This initial movie or episode offered a lot of action and emotion. 💓 As the first episode, it was fast-moving and, with its creatively shot daytime driving and night-time scenes, it gave a good feeling of the scenerio. The handsome cast was not bad to watch ;) The female cop was well casted and acted! I thought there was great acting all around. The story seems to have a lot to offer and I would definitely recommend it. I loved the Irish guy's expression in the final scene and the cliffhanger - I hope it's a series that continues!!
