This stupid, ridiculous, moronic piece of cr&p has got to be the worst movie EVER made. It begs the question, why are you paying actors to recreate eye witness Bigfoot encounters when you could have the actual witnesses recount their own experiences? Every single actor in this pathetic movie should NEVER be allowed to act in another movie ever again for the sake of the watching public. These actors were so bad it was comical, I felt as if I was watching a Wayan's movie in which the characters are purposefully acting badly, but hilariously enough the actors in this movie thought they were doing a good job. Yikes! The breaking point for me was when the teen girls were having a slumber party and making popcorn when the elusive creature made itself known, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! This story was something out of a tacky horror movie from the 70's. If you value your IQ points, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! There is a reason why some movies are free on Prime and this movie couldn't sell any copies if they gave them away free in the mail along with samples of Tide. This is truly the worst movie on Amazon, I hated absolutely everything about it and can't believe I wasted 10 minutes of my life watching it!

I honestly really enjoyed this movie. Kept me laughing the entire time and on the edge of my seat definitely in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. The narrator does an amazing job of capturing the essence of the film, and the breaks in the middle of the movie for nature filled music videos really brightens my day, i definitely recommend watching this movie!
While this movie, incorrectly not labeled as a documentary type, is interesting and has its suspenseful moments, the Bigfoot, or Skunkape, is so fake-looking. They did better costuming in the 80s with Harry and the Hendersons.
The Legend of Boggy Creek excelled at painting a picture of a small, rural town that was on the edge of a vast and seemingly mysterious wilderness. It captured small town life from the late 20th century as well as capturing the wonder of what might be lurking in the undeveloped portions of the North America.
The Legacy of Boggy Creek follows this premise but now in the 21st century and the image it paints, while accurate, is far less magical. The film accurately assesses that large portions of undeveloped wilderness are far less prevalent as civilization has expanded in all directions. While this is very apt, it makes small town America feel less like an outpost on the edge of something unknown and more like .... small town America. Low population, limited economic opportunities, etc. The locals seemed less quaint then their 70's counterparts.
Most of the accounts also lack the tabloid-style flavor that the original offered and instead come off as legitimate sightings by mostly reasonable people. The creature itself is, admittedly, pretty incredible to behold and feels like it would belong in the trashy, cult favorite Suburban Sasquatch. Lastly, I'm going to guess that the movie was lacking in runtime as they decided to include a lot of b-roll footage of pigs, trees, and ponds all while accompanied with music.
Overall, I'm not sure I'd recommend it and there is little that stands out after having viewed it.
