Tedious, shallow and rather untalented

The setting, a derelict boy's holiday camp somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and the concept, the spirits of bygone occupants, provide a wonderful opportunity for excellent drama. But sadly this production simply fails to exploit the potential of the circumstances. The first few minutes of any short movie are crucial to establish interest but I found myself thinking of something else after two minutes and actually yawning after five. Even a masturbation scene, presumably inserted to inject more interest, simply fails fails to deliver the goods and I was left wondering how so much time and effort could be given to something so boring.

A good one. Because it is the inspired portrait of a clash . Because the atmosphere is fascinating. Not the last - for great use of details, from the dools to the walls and looks. A film about ages and about worlds. Well crafted, dark-poetic, reminding the traits of childhood and the states of teenager. And , sure, a special legacy.

This really is an excellent short film. So much is communicated by economic means.

Much is made of the location, the ruins of St. Athan Boys Village which is in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. One doorway of the ruin is made to look sinister and threatening. It is here that much will happen.

The film explores a lot, but most notably the dynamic between the world we inhabit as a child and as a teenager. The two worlds are different sides of the same coin.

There is a visual dialogue between these two worlds. The world of the child is trying to reach out to the world of the teenager.

I don't know?

Well, that was trippy? I'm not sure what I was watching really. Who was the ghost if either were and was their really a gay element to it? The acting was also quite disappointed except for the lead character Kevin.
