The Kiss List helmed by Sonia Sebastián is a refreshing take on a coming of age rom com. The cast, in particular Megan Suri, delivers a believable performance that most people can relate to. The Director does a great job of integrating themes of self acceptance, gender fluidity and relationships in a very natural and realistic way.

Production Designer Rodrigo Cabral and Costume Designer Samantha Kuester worked effortlessly together to build a world that synced up perfectly with the characters. The Kiss List is a fun watch and reminds me of those great teenage rom coms of the 90's.

This film is a must watch.

I debated writing a review because there's really nothing positive to say but here I go:

This movie has been on my radar for a while now, mainly bc 1. I love YA movies w lgbtq themes and 2. Megan Suri. However, it's 2025 and it started to feel like it would never have a US release. I managed to watch it tonight and boy oh boy. I now understand why there wasn't a US release bc I assume everyone involved is hoping that they can minimize the exposure to this garbage fest.

To be specific: befuddling dialogue, lackluster script, acting so bad that I don't even want to call it acting, filmed on what looked like a Nokia phone, and a bewildering soundtrack.

Word of advice: do not watch this. Megan Suri hopefully has a bright future but this should very quickly be erased from existence. A blight on her portfolio.
