Anecdotes
The credits sequence where Lafayette and King Louis XVI frolic through the fields was completely improvised after the shooting of the film wrapped up. The sequence was not originally intended to be used in the film, however, director Tony Kulenovic thought it was funny enough to work as a post-credits sequence, and the ending was slightly altered.

Gaffes
During Lafayette's rap, Max Banerjee raps with a standard American accent, but at the end of the rap, he switches to a stereotypical French accent which remains throughout the rest of the film.
