If you really into hood stuff and you gutter like that you gone give it a 10 . But if you value , good acting , great story lines , and believability then this isn't it . They just added another 3 or 4 episodes. There are better shows out there , but you can do worse . It's palatable, the male actors are better than the women . The women look like straight hood rats . Again if you don't expect much from this , then you may halfway enjoy . It's so ratchet lol.

This is a low budget show that is actually good and engaging If you keep that in mind you will enjoy. Not related nor friends of anyone who is an actor on this show The only thing that show needs is a bigger budget 💯

It's obvious to me the ones doing the ratings are the actors and others involved in this project! It's horrible! The acting, horrible, the writing, horrible...it doesn't even stay on track with small situations within a story. They tried, the cast is at least nice looking, but it's really not much more good that i can honestly say about this project. Nice try.

This series is lit! I love the show literally couldn't stop watching, phone down fully tuned in!! Please keep the episodes coming. I love all the actors as well great job !!

The anticipation is really mind boggling. I love the seeing black excellence but behind all the wealth is a battle. The way money creates so many enemies and how a beautiful woman can be so insecure. This is binge worthy I can definitely see this on STARZ, BET etc... The DIRTY D will have you yelling at the TV. Has another network pick up the series? Somebody? Anybody? I can't wait to see the next episode.

All 10's me and my husband love it so come on back with the rest of these episodes and quit playing with us. We especially love all the actors from Detroit these Detroit movies be lit they giving Atlanta a run for the money next black Hollywood in the making.

It's a good show, I enjoyed it, I watched all 6 episodes in 1 day. I'm giving it a 6 because it kept me entertained the cast are a good looking cast, the acting is subpar it's a little low budget but I didn't expect much from the Tubi network, so considering it's on Tubi I didn't expect a big budget show, overall a good low budget show, again it's on Tubi so it's pretty good for that streaming network.

I started watching this show because one of my favorite podcasts had a discussion about it. So this weekend, (1.20.2024-1.21.2024) I started watching it, because I needed something to act as background while I cleaned around the house.

Let me say, I don't know anyone affiliated with this production.

It gave me a lot of stress relief to get a good and messy hood drama in my life, I will watch a lot of different things just to get different experiences. This story is all over the place but it is very much enough to hold your attention. The characters have A LOT going on. I am riveted by the series, I will look forward to the third season. I knew it with one storyline.

There is a market for this show, there is an audience, everything can't be on the level of Game of Thrones or Downton Abbey. All I can say is that I had all the laughs, WTF moments, and "the .....?" moments while I folded clothes, sorted donations out of my closet and knitted a scarf. For the relief of my stress, the cast of "The Dirty D" have my affection, truly, it was the light and fluffy kind of series I needed, so I send a sincere "thank you" to them for that. I like to read the occasional hood fiction, I am a big reader and I read "urban fiction" to get the healthy dose of drama that it provides, this show did the same in television form.

*I do skip the 'love' scenes, but that is just because I don't particularly care for them, it became funny to me because there really isn't a prelude to them but after about four episodes, I knew.*

As I said in my social media post about this show, it is raunchy and explicit, but I am riveted; I actually care about these characters; which is usually hard for me, I usually am "Whatever, I just want this to be over." With "The Dirty D", I was sitting there like "Kyra, I need you to get yourself together, my love, don't let these men talk to you any kind of way!"

I enjoy it, sometimes it is nice to turn off your mind and just enjoy something fun and easy.

I like the story line and if you don't know how ( some) ppl in Detroit act and think in real life u won't like it u might the it's stereotyped it's not that far from accurate but i like hood movies and story line was cool could use some work Take out less sex scenes make the twist a lil better you got one coach. Tubi didn't have season 1-2 when I watched it I think it I seen season 3 like 3 episodes of and I was actually lookn for more but there was no more episodes.

Well let's see where do I start. First 3 minutes I'm laughing my ass off cause what kind of person forces a body guard/bouncer to leave and it seems like someone bumped into him out his way out and I guess kills or rakes her. Whatever I dove into the rabbit hole.

Some of the women in this show are more disrespectful than the men. It seems like everyone is having an affair with someone but everyone knows about the other one.

Also what kind of high profiles club serves in plastic cups.

The vip is just an extra table push next to the regular tables in front of the bar. And why is the only drink anyone drinks is Hennessy. " can we say stereotype much"

Watch this show if you want to see some beautiful black women and want to laugh but other than that don't waste your vision.

Oh I was going to make spoilers in this review but who cares it might save you the 3 hrs.

I'm disappointed in the direction all these Detroit based movies and shows are going. It's one drug and stripper movie after the next, and this series is no different. Every black "hood" stereotype is crammed into this series, with some soft porn thrown in in case we didn't know what sex looks like. The acting is horrible, but the men do a better job than the women surprisingly. Season 2 is no better, the same drugs, sex and strip club shenanigans as the 1st season. I thought we'd see a better variety in storylines, but I was sadly mistaken. I can tell this group of writers, directors, actors etc. Have potential to make some decent films, if they'd only move past this oversaturated hood drama genre!

She wants to see more and can't wait until there are more episodes to watch she just shared a post about it on Facebook needless to say she's hooked. How will we know when there are more episodes because we're hoping for more sooner than later. The suspense was everything and the actors all did an amazing job. Some of the actors and actresses in this show my wife has been following their careers for about 2 years now and according to her everyone has grown in a major way. This show is right up there with power, empire, and the Chi you won't regret watching, the beautiful women will keep you captivated and the story lines will keep your attention.

This show is a ghetto mess but it's soooo good! I love the storyline and the characters. It's like a hood novel turned into a tv show. There's a lot of drama, lies, and betrayal among most of the characters, which is what makes the show so interesting. The show centers around a married couple's nightclub business and the Detroit police attempt to take it down.

I hate how season 1 left us hanging. It was so abrupt, but I will be watching season 2. Also, don't have high expectations for production because it's not advance at all, but neither are Tyler Perry movies and y'all eat those up! Anyways, please watch this show I need more seasons!

I watched this with no expectations. But I must admit I enjoyed it. There were some actors and actresses better than others but it all balanced out. The plot was not too overdone. There are some doozies on Tubi and this one is not. It had some twists that keep you engaged. S EX scenes were decent. The cast looked good. I want to see the next season already. I love Detroit has its own little holiday I been on a binge watching black indie movies and I see a lot come out of Detroit. IDMB knock it off with needing to write a dissertation to post a review. I'm not sure what else to write but that it's a good series.

This show is for people in toxic relationships. My roommate and his girlfriend watch it and they're in the most toxic relationship I've ever seen. This is for people that watch fan made YouTube trailers all day. You can tell whoever writes this has absolutely no respect for black women. There's an episode where a guy basically tries to force somebody to get an abortion. I'm not sure how this show got green lit like dead ass I feel like I can legit make a better show by tomorrow and I don't write scripts. Only reason I've seen this show is over the past few months my roommate has had it on blast before he goes to sleep and I overhear this trash every night. I saw a comment about black excellence and this def ain't it we can't seriously support this trash 🗑

It's actually a good series with a great story line. The acting wasn't that bad either. My friends and I have watched it and can't wait for the next season or episode 7.

How you gone have a show this good then only have 3 episodes ,this is Shot Out.

Yeah it's a C budget show but it's entertaining asf.

I was pissed to see there weren't a lot of episodes that's the ONLY COMPLAINT i have because i wish this could last longer they really have a dope story line i feel like if your into hood movies that are realistic then you'll love this movie....... Me and my husband are both a fan of the Detroit movies and i personally look for certain actors to make sure imma get what i'm looking for..... I'm not sure why people are being overly critical of the movie like tyler perry or lee daniels themselves made it or they had the same budget as them but the budget they did have they did great because it had our phones completely down had us in a chokehold!!!

Had to sign up and leave a review . Cause I wanted to show support for minority people doing it. Show quality , sound and lighting was dope for the budget. I found out about the show from gmac cash Facebook page. Wasn't expecting to be into the drama at all. But I was!

Plot and spoilers aside . Ya the script could take more time to really build on characters but for what it is I enjoyed it. Season 1 . New actors and actresses to me. Def a good start for them . I can see season 2 being better.

Kinda reminds me of a less polished Friday. Eye candy def did not hurt at all.

One review I saw on here was mad at how the characters seemed to be unlikable? I Laughed cause I think that person is looking for a Disney movie or something lol . There are no heroes in the Dirty D! Only adult life situations that need to be fixed! Can't wait. For season 2!

I have not been intrigued by low-budget baller-hustling movies since I was a young adult I call them B-class movies Surprisingly while strolling on Peacock I watched all 3 seasons I really enjoyed all of it I was taken back how those men were making them big booties clap I had to google if they were couples acting in a movie that's how my Lover likes me to arch my back Damn y'all could it get any more Authentic now that's a true black Love scene Bravo the only reason I gave 8 out of 10 was All the tlose behavior of the women We don't betray our black men like that never ever sleep with their friends let alone best friends black woman hold a true one down no matter how they disrespect us We stay 10 toes down that's why we wear the Crowns Much Respect looking forward to Season 4.
