One episode shows Emma running away to the Tipton Hotel, where Mr. Moseby (Phill Lewis) works as a manager. After giving Jessie some advice, Mr. Moseby is on the phone with Cody Martin (from The Suite Life series) and says, "I'm telling you, Cody--this girl looks just like Bailey!" Before playing Jessie, Debby Ryan was Bailey on The Suite Life on Deck (2008).
This series takes place in the same world as Austin & Ally (2011), hence the magazine "Leopard Beat," a parody of "Tiger Beat."
Actor Karan Brar (Ravi) uses a fake accent to sound Indian, like his character. He has an American accent since he's from Redmond, Washington.
Originally, Zuri was supposed to be an American girl named Olivia from Chicago. Although the producers were so impressed by Skai Jackson's audition that they wrote the whole role over.
Jessie takes place in the universe as Good Luck Charlie (2010), Austin & Ally (2011), Shake It Up (2010), Liv and Maddie (2013), Best Friends Whenever (2015), Girl Meets World (2014), I Didn't Do It (2014), and That's So Raven (2003). Because Hannah Montana (2006) and Wizards of Waverly Place (2007) crossed over with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005), and Mr. Moseby made a cameo on this show. Raven goes to the Tipton Hotel in season four of That's So Raven (2003); it makes sense that those two shows are also in the same universe as this show.
