Noktah Merah Perkawinan

Although Noktah Merah Perkawinan is formulaic, it is successfully made more interesting. This film contains several themes, such as relationships, love, trust, pressure, and consequences. The story in this film may be too typical, the plot direction is easy to guess, and it feels like a soap opera, but Sabrina Rochelle makes the story enjoyable to follow until the end of the film. Although the drama is too familiar, it is not cheap, in fact, the storytelling seems more mature. In addition, we will also feel the drama is very complicated and intense, and can make us care about the storyline. The dialogue here is good, not excessive, and consistent in the use of language style. What makes this film feel mature is that there are no "bad" characters here, even though what they do is still unjustifiable. The pacing is also very good from beginning to end. The cinematography is predominantly symmetrical, which doesn't look too simple but is beautiful to look at and can convey the emotions appropriately. The editing is also okay. The mellow music is nice and matches the tone of the film. The acting of the cast is also solid, especially during the build up to the climax which is also smooth. Overall, a bit doubtful at the beginning, but managed to reverse expectations with solid execution.

I give this 9/10.

Marriage Story (2019) [Indonesia's Version].

Throughout the film, you will be irritated, but in a positive way. The scene "Tampar Aku, Mas", which is iconic was also executed successfully thanks to the emotional performances by the two of them.

Apart from making the theme of "love" feel less corny, the dialogue also makes the conflict in the story more realistic and relatable.

Best drama of 2022!

Tontonan bertema konflik kehidupan rumah tangga memang menjadi salah satu konten yang disukai banyak orang. Apalagi, jika terdapat karakter orang ketiga yang bikin konflik rumah tangga tokoh utamanya semakin runyam. Sepanjang filmnya, kamu akan dibuat geregetan, tapi dengan arti yang positif.

Adegan "Tampar aku, Mas" yang sangat ikonis pada sinetronnya juga berhasil dieksekusi dengan sukses berkat performa keduanya yang sangat emosional.

Selain membuat tema "cinta-cintaan"-nya jadi tak terasa corny, penggunaan konsep dialog ini juga membuat konflik ceritanya menjadi semakin realistis sehingga penonton turut bisa relate dengan kisahnya.

Without a doubt, in my opinion this is the best Indonesian film of 2022.

The film is very realistic where many of the married couples in Indonesia will experience exactly like what happened in this movie. I even have a close friend with the same story to this film and he is divorced. A lot of marriage problems they face in the movie are also very natural. Many of the problems, we frequently encounter in our daily life, so we can really relate to their feeling, emotion on those condition. I also love the dialog between each characters in the movie. It remind me of Angga Dwimas Sasongko movies, that i considered one of the best for Indonesian movie.

"why do so many people want to get married?" and "Silent each other is as dangerous as cursing each other" are two of my favorite quotes from the movie.

The movie teach us that communication and opening up to your partner really important to survive in marriage. The storyline was just surprisingly uncomplicated but it can delivers strong messages to its viewers.

Very recommended to watch especially for young Indonesian couple.

I really like how they presenting the story and it is a very realistic movie. Love the color mood, music, cinematic, semiotics, acting, and moral of the story. Uugh I just love it all *chef kiss*.

I got so emotional while watching this especially for the climax. The mood were so perfect that it makes you very sympathize with the characters.

I just didn't really like the ending while fully known what the main problem of the relationship, which made me very frustrated. I was really rooting for the husband and hope there will be a change, but :'(.

Despite of the ending of the story, I really recommend to watch this. (Also you need to keep tissues on your side while watching this, just in case) Thank you for making this movie!
