Avis à la une
I know its not Oscar worthy.
But if you expect This movie to be different from the other 5. You will be disappointed.
I dont get way peopel see This movie if They dont like the other.
Make no sence to me. And then wright how bad it is.
Sorry if my writing sucks. I am Norwegian with dyslexia. I wanted to wright realy short, but i have to wright Like 600 Words or something.
I was 14 years old when i saw the first one. I loved it. It was new and not like anny other horror movie at the time.
So for me This is nostalgia but also entertainment.
So i can absolutely recommend This one. If you like the other films and take it for What it is.

I hated it. And it makes me so so sad to see a franchise that I love dearly being connected to a sequel like this. I loved the change of setting-that was a definite plus. The different intro was promising. Sidney's presence not being in the film is almost its own ghostly metaphorical character. Sidney is Scream, and her absence is painful to witness, so much so that you might as well not call this a Scream film. I hated the reveal as well, just a rehashed motive reminiscent of the motive in Scream 2. I LOVE Scream 2, it's my favorite film in the entire franchise, and Mrs Loomis is the best reveal/most underrated killer out of them all, but for the directors to talk about subverting expectations, they did the exact opposite regarding this film's motive. It does feel a bit too long, and I never thought I'd say a longer Scream movie would be a negative. The chase scene/call with Gale was great, though not as epic as the one in Scream 2. Much of the dialogue was cringey, including Gale saying that Sidney "deserves her happy ending." Really?! They made Gale say the most annoying comment used by fans online about whether Sidney should or shouldn't be involved? Ugh. Kirby, who's a character I've never cared for, was so underutilized (she should've been the killer/no survivor has ever been that, and it would've been a way to turn everything on its axis). These directors had the opportunity to create something fresh & great here, but failed.
Scream 6 is not a masterpiece or can be compared to the OG Scream. This movie has its moments but it's slow.
Last 30 minutes are engaging however movie relies heavily on clichés, and the character development is almost non-existent. There are few jump scares and far between, and the kills, though graphic, lack the creative flair that made the earlier films memorable. Ghostface's motives are muddled, and the pacing feels uneven, leaving the audience with more frustration than excitement. Overall, Scream 6 could have trimmed down to 1hr 40min for a more tight screenplay.
There are few scenes which generates tension among the audience such as the ladder scene, the metro scene and last 15 minutes in the movie.
Overall, this movie is a fair one time watch.

It over does it on the nostalgia and occasionally frustratingly undermines it own stakes but that can't stop Scream VI from being a really good sequel that's got a killer opening, a truly brutal Ghostface and a constant stream of great set pieces unfolding at a break neck pace.
It doesn't feel that meta, especially in comparison to its predecessor but one of Scream VI's greatest strengths is truly doubling down on the whodunit/r rated Scooby Doo vibe that the series has and is always at its best at when embraced.
The core four (Barrera, Ortega, Gooding and Savoy Brown) are great, their familial bonds and friendship is so believable and their overall likeability makes them so fun to watch, proving they can definitely carry a film without the need to rely on legacy characters.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett had a real knack for set pieces in the last one and they've only gotten better this time around. Each set piece is cleverly set up, inventive and unbearably tense. Particular highlights include a unnerving subway journey and early liquor store shootout.

As someone who grew up with the original, I pretty much watch all of these whether I want to or not. I will say this was wasn't as cheesy as the last few have been. It just always cracks me up when a character gets stabbed on their side and in the stomach and don't have to go to the hospital or anything.
The killer was a cool twist. I had guessed it partially but was actually thrown off with the entire reveal of it, so that was cool, and the entire cast was enjoyable.
It's a decent movie, but I do hope they actually stop after this one. The same plot pretty much every movie tends to get a little boring.

- AnecdotesCourteney Cox was the first cast member to sign up to return as Gale Weathers. She stated that she did not hesitate to return because she loved playing Gale, and jokingly said that she'd even play her for free.
- GaffesDespite Ghostface taking a blow to the forehead from a frying pan, none of the suspects at the end of the movie show the resulting bruising/swelling that would have occurred.
