Since no one has left a review I wanted to quickly write a review after renting this movie. Now we had a movie credit so we only paid a $1 to rent this so movie so I can say I'm happy with my $1 rental. First of all, this is not a horror movie. I am a horror movie aficionado, and despite the trailer making it look scary- it's not at all. This movie would best be described as a drama/mystery with a couple scares in the second half of the movie. The movie is about two children who go to live with a new adoptive family, where the father becomes the primary caretaker and their new mother spends more and more time away from home. For a horror movie these are the most well mannered children I've ever seen. Overall, the acting was good and it had solid production values. For a horror movie, you're gonna be disappointed. However, it kept our attention throughout the movie and kept us guessing until the absolute end- something I wasn't expecting.
My honest and fair rating would be a 5/10.

Really an awful film. The guy has to be the evil pansy and of course the kids are orphans but can't seem to adjust correctly. The mom would need to be the father figure who walks all over the dad. It's an upsetting pile of trash that you just keep hoping it gets better....but it gets worse. It's a movie that doesn't have strong horror elements but will upset you over how It's just an awful movie. Yes watching paint dry is the better option here. They really need to learn that when you involve adopted kids into a movie this is a big deal and a touchy subject anyway that csn have a huge backfire.
