Avis à la une
But still so many good drama movies have been made in the past. This is just a run-of-the-mill drama movie with psychological elements. The movie has an important message and the way the message is delivered is absolutely riveting.
I have seen plenty of drama movies in my life. I have seen psychological thriller movies like The Silence Of The Lambs, Copycat 1995, Bone Daddy 1998, The Bone Collector 1999, Seven 1995 among many others.
So does this movie deliver anything new compared to the ones I've mentioned. Yes and no. It questions morality and responsibility two important facets of society as a whole. Those expecting just a dark thriller or a straight-up serial killer movie will be disappointed. The movie isn't even based on a real-life serial killer like Bundy, Dahmer or Gacy.
Plot: The intense relationship between a psychotherapist(Sussane Hartmann played by actress Signe Egholm Olsen) and her dangerous new client(Mark Zidenius played by the actor Anton Hjejle). Soon Sussane will be drawn into Mark's deadly psychological game that he has pre-planned. Watch the movie to find out what happens in the end...
So this is more akin to a social drama will solid psychological elements woven into it. Does the film deserve an award, like so many people are clamoring for it? Let time tell...

No pun intended - when it comes to psychological stuff, there are always things to consider. And thrillers have to consider even more things - to make them work. Logically and internally and all that. Acting wise this is really good. I do wonder about the practice and how she ... or rather why she would conduct her business like that, but if she didn't we wouldn't have a movie ... and so many twists ahead of us.
I liked what this did and the low budget it has does not even - well it does not make much of a difference. The effects are good, the main location is the office obviously. And the script is tight - you can tell because of the dialog you hear. The actors are great in their respective roles. Watch it if you are into mysteries and thrillers that keep you guessing ... everything and anything goes ...

Klienten positions itself as a psychological thriller, but ultimately fails to deliver on even its basic promises. The concept is unimaginative, the plot unfolds predictably, and the film seems content to recycle ideas from older, more successful thrillers-without adding any new perspective or depth.
Performances are flat and emotionally disengaged, which only amplifies the film's lack of tension. The script offers little character development, and the dialogue feels mechanical.
Director Anders Rønnow Klarlund shows flashes of competence, but not creativity. He remains stuck in the safe zone of "could have been great," never daring to take narrative or visual risks. The result is a film that lacks identity, avoiding both bold storytelling and stylistic flair.
The ending tries to echo genre classics, but instead lands as flat and uninspired-a pale imitation without substance.

First 60-70 minutes were somewhat good, nothing great or memorable though. So was the twist. Unexpected but it still was a 6-ish/10 movie. Nothing impressive, from acting to directing etc.
And then, the movie took an interesting turn, it became not just watchable but recommendable. Most of the movies nowadays have mediocre or bad endings/final parts. The ending here is so good, it's touching, satisfying and almost mind blowing. The characters here are not ordinary people, the story is not the most plausible one, however the viewer is fully convinced about their motives, at least i did. In the end, everyone got what they deserved. Yes, the final twist is somewhat predictable but still, satisfying as hell. And the words of a person before, made me emotional.
A good psychological drama/thriller.

My instant pick to watch tagged as an underdog turned out to be a monster,A brilliant piece of cinema in every aspect...
Be it a hour glass session, luxurious office space or an finest atmospheric conditions in climax one could crave for a perfect cinema elements....
Take a bow for Anders klarlund for keeping u strangled for nearly 1 1/2 hrs tight session with his twisty screenplay that makes u subliminally guilt and shrink u with a crystal clear screenplay...
Signe Olsen and Anton duo strikes instantly with their weird and methodical performance...can't review for more coz this movie speaks a lot to connect u when u watch it making u to crave for more cinema to experience....
