The makers have made the movie in entire one night and that's good if they added more then it be disastrous

Keeping in mind raveena and Milind I dared to see this movie still could not get it what they wanted to show it was so much down graded thrill with no acting or expressions from any of these stars ..raveena could had done wonders but she was unexplored and so was Milind..the suspense was so so easy to predict

Sorry for the negative reviews just giving feedback to ensure we get good quality with versatile actors like raveena

Perfectly makers have released on free ott platform.

Most revies are paid of fake about this.

There is nothing in this movie.

It is very predictable, It has almost no story or worse story, screen play , characters and even music. Dubbing is so bad.

I think film students can do better than this piece of scrap.

I am fan of lead actors but they did very bad.

Milind was never able to act and he will never be.

Over all Raveena is ok actress but she dint do any efforts on this one.

Some of natural shots are ok which seems like just shot by drowns by someone else and edited/added to this movie and houses used in this movie are kinda ok. Nothing else.

A good plot with major loopholes.

The major thing missing was the prelude . The writers and director jumped into the main without any build up .Also too predictable!!

Raveena carried the entire movie on her shoulders , fabulous performance. Wonder why are roles not written for her. Couple of scenes are worth mentioning, 1. When she is having a conversation with the girl . Her demeanor from confident to vulnerable was awesome .2. Last conversation with ram verma 3. Last conversation with the girl

The other girl performance was like a soaked bread in water - did not feel good ,bad or angry at her at all !! Her character arch was not etched out right and neither was her acting !!

Milind Soman insipid typecast roles are boring to watch .

My biggest disappointment was the investigation .... sloppy and quick !! Even an amateur would have had better plot points . Overall I discredit the writers and director thar has screwed the movie badly !!

FILM Review: One Friday Night streaming on Jio Cinema

Ek Friday night ki kahani hai . A cheating husband Ram ( Milind Soman) & his lover, Nirosha ( Vidhi Chitalia) plan a romantic rendezvous at the former's remote bungalow near Lonavala.

The wife who is a gynaecologist, Lata ( Raveena Tandon) is unaware of this and thinks he is in Nagpur for a business meeting. Ram suffers a freak accident in the midst of their romantic interlude and is badly injured. Unable to get any help in the stormy night, the exasperated Nirosha calls the Lata. Upon reaching the bungalow & understanding what is going on, Lata & Nirosha are left confronting each other in an interesting faceoff. After a while Lata leaves the two lovers and that's when the real fun starts!!

Raveena Tandon has given an excellent performance as a wife who is devastated by her husband's infidelity and yet has to take care of him as a doctor. Milind Soman is sadly wasted. Vidhi's role too had great potential ,but she is unfortunately shown to be too passive. A decent performance though.

Manish Gupta who has given us brilliant films like Rahasya and Section 375 should be commended for trying to steer away from the normal Bollywood cliches & trying something different. The remote villa & the rainy night have been used very effectively. However, the lack of dramatic moments and a somewhat insipid narrative slows the film down.

Though it is a short film of around 90 mins and might seem a bit slow , the unexpected twist in the end makes it worth the watch !!

Going with 2.5/5 for this one ... Adios🙂!!

The movie is well made, I came across the poster on social media and the title was attractive. A quick 90 minutes watch was well worth it. Kept me engrossed.

The cinematography was very sophisticated and made the location look beautiful. The highlight was that this extra marital affair drama was kept very real and non Bollywood. The exchange of words between the 3 lead characters gave the film a very real feel and kudos to the director and writers for that.

The performance by Raveena Tandon was very natural and as an audience you could feel her pain. Milind Soman's performance was a pleasant surprise. The new actress playing the young love interest was very convincing as a vulnerable girl in love. It's a great weekend watch. Would recommend it.

The special thing about this film is that according to the story of this film, the suspense created by the writer of the film (Manish Gupta ji) is commendable.

The director (Manish Gupta ji) has made a good film using minimum locations. Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman and Vidhi Chitalia will be seen in this film.

Like always, Raveena and Milind's performance this time too was very good, while Vidhi Chitalia kept the entire film engaged due to her acting skills.

The camera work and lighting of the film is very good. Coming to the post production, the sound, editing and VFX did a great job. You guys must watch this movie once.

Milind Soman in Ram and Raveena Tandon as Lata have played their character superbly. It's not that often that we see Raveena in such an avatar. Vidhi as Neeru has also performed remarkably well. All actors are equally good. Film is beautifully shot as well.

It is the responsibility of literature and art to give a new direction to the society along with keeping its point. This film done both, first of aIl i liked your story very much. Story contain suspence till the end, good one and I watch First Time Raveena Tondon as these type of acting. Milind Soman and Vidhi chitalia also did Great Job . Well done. The location Pawna Lake, where the film has been shot is absolutely stunning. It's damn good, so close to Mumbai. It has been captured beautifully in the film by the cameraman and director.

All the actors acted very well and they were very believable. Great performance by Raveena Tandon & the new girl Vidhi Chitalia.

The relationship complexities which are shown in the film are extremely realistic.

I hope the makers make a sequel to this movie soon, it will be great to watch it.

I happened to watch the latest Bollywood film 'ONE FRIDAY NIGHT' on JIO CINEMA yesterday morning.

The cinematography was excellent and Manish Gupta's direction is simply fantastic.

He makes everything look so real and authentic. He is a brilliant filmmaker.

Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman and nee actress Vidhi Chitalia have done a great job in this superb movie.

The story of the film is very engaging, there are plenty of unexpected twists and shocking turns.

The manner in which the cast of the actors were made to perform by the director and their power of communication and body language is beautifully revealed at the right places.

Manish Gupta has written the screenplay very well and his direction is top notch.

He has presented the dramatic story in the film so effectively.

The unique feature of this film is that it is shot entirely in the night and in heavy rains.

A very emotionally strong film about relationships.

It is truly a great piece of filmmaking.

An impressive debut by the new girl by a very moving portrayal.

I would definitely recommend this film - ONE FRIDAY NIGHT to everybody, it's a must watch.

Blockbuster direction of this century. Each scenes in the movie as been shoot with perfect angle, View with the best direction. This movie is a story teller. And also Milind Soman, Raveena Tandon performance is too good. Casting is perfect. Before judging & commenting watch once. It will teach you something if you want to enhance . It is a very exciting and must watch film. It is extremely realistic and the audience feels that this unexpected situation can happen to any married woman or married man.

The highlights of this ONE FRIDAY NIGHT.., are the conversations between the 2 women about the man they love.

Director Manish Gupta has done a superb job once again! He is a master of his craft and doesn't let the audience get bored. The camera angles were excellent. The outdoor shots of the location are breathtaking, one feels that you are watching a Hollywood film.

He has been able to extract great performances from the crew and the 3 principal characters played by Raveena Tandon, Milind Soman & new find Vidhi Chitalia.

Well written screenplay and brilliant casting. Nice story. There are some flaws but the audience may not feel it. Enjoyable suspense thriller.

Acting-Raveena tandon acting is superb and steals the show. The others are also usually good (with occasional overacting). I had never noticed milind earlier but he does a pretty good job in her limited role. Overall, characterisations are pretty good.

Neat story. So far, I am unable to find a plothole.

Many elements in the movie are portrayed realistically, with minor details like the behaviour of a farmhouse staff also taken into consideration.

Overall, I liked the execution of the movie, a rare murder mystery from Bollywood. Recommended watch.

Another masterpiece by manish gupta sir..beautifully directed wonderfully executed story..the narrative takes us through a lot of assumptions and the best part is that it's so unpredictable to figure out that what happens next..amazing performances by raveena tondon,milind soman,and vidhi chitalia.the weather in which the film has been shot is an add on factor for the look of the film..the film kept me wanting to know what is going to happen next..the editing is too crisp without and loose ends..the cinematography is well crafted making you feel that you are in the story..Well done manish sir.
