The Exterminator: Retribution

A tough, adult exploitation film in which violence and retribution are the main themes.

Essentially the story follows the son of the exterminator, in a one man army against crime, i missed these vigilante movies and with this one, it hitted the spot.

The actors do their job well, mainly the exterminator and the crime lord.

Though the film only has one scene of strong gore, the series of deaths are impactful and pretty disturbing.

The film concentrates on the various ways the exterminator kills his enemy´s.

Essential viewing for vigilante fans.

I don´t even know this saga, but this movie is really good, it brings back the old street justice feeling, it knows what it wants and it takes us on to follow the path the exterminator´s son makes for himself.

A true dramatic and action movie that brings on the goods, and delivers.

Director Constantino digs deep in the life of the exterminator´s son, proving that violence is the only way to stop the killings and the siege from the enemy´s that prey on society.

Jake Eastland ins´t a superhuman, just a quiet, reflective man wielding a very, very big flamethrower, in a dark savage world.

I saw this one on release day on their channel, and somehow i was mesmerized how they pulled it off with a low budget like this, it has that vibe of grindhouse classics and lots of blood, the violence in the late 70's showed more realistic and depressing popular culture, showing the dark side of New York City (full of low lifes, street criminals, drug dealers, drug addicts, underage prostitution, disgusting pedophiles and slimy perverts) So in this first chapter we see him take on a criminal organization led by one mob leader Teschio (D. Dias) so we know it won´t be a easy fight has he struggles with his legacy of the old path done by his father, i liked this backstory wish there was more of it, but that´s not the case here.

The soundtrack is good.

"The Exterminator Retribution" will become a cult classic among the exploitation cinema in time, but like the other flicks from this genre it's not indicated for the general audience...

Just like John Rambo this movie captures a Jake Eastland the son of the exterminator that grabs the guns and goes to fight criminals on the streets of Detroit.

The premise is simple, and i do like a vigilante films, i already saw all of the old ones from 70´s to 80´s, so i couldn´t miss this one.

The cast works well together, the soundtrack, special effects (a little CGI) are cool.

But the main focus for me his the legacy, it carried the movie to it´s objective until the finale.
