Sym-Bionic Titan

I wanted to watch something new and saw this on Netflix and it was AMAZING!!!! Please bring it back!!!! Netflix needs to pick it up!

I love this series, but I couldn't help but draw parallels from Neon Genesis Evangelion to this. I wouldn't be surprised if the creator was influenced by it.

I was quite curious about this animated series after looking at the screencaps online. After seeing the series on Amazon Video, I immediately enjoyed it and wished it were available on DVD or Blu-ray.

This is a "mecha" animated series, most likely influenced by Japanese "mecha" anime. Of course, the story is about three alien beings: the planet's princess, her soldier protector, and their robot companion. They went to Earth to flee their adversary, who had taken over their planet, Galaluna. The enemy, however, had sent giant monsters to find and destroy the three. But our heroes form a giant robot known as "Titan."

I was disappointed that they didn't have a second season. Anyway, as I said, I love this series with its story and stunning animation. And again, I really wish the series was on DVD or Blu-ray.

-Interesting animation and style. -Characters with flaws that you can still love and see them grow. -Right when they present a cliche, they BREAK IT. -More into the drama than the robot aspect, but the robot is still awesome. -Isn't afraid to get serious at many points.

-Cancelled WAY too soon. I can't give it a 10 because you never get to see what else they were planning.

With likable characters, creative story, and great Tartakovsky visuals (enhanced with some 3D CG animation)!
