Avis à la une
I love this film. Its one of those feel good films. It shows humanity in all aspects.
Christmas films are in general good but not always great.
This film is a step up from standard Christmas films
It's fun and enjoyable
This movie has everything you need at Christmas. A great script. Fine acting and a Christmas spirit that can't be planned or written.
This movie just works.
Impossible to find btw. I had to buy it as a Region 2 DVD from Germany!
It has a heartwarming story and Doris Roberts is fantastic. I actually hadn't seen the first in the "Mrs Miracle" series prior to watching this one and I could still follow along with no problem, as they were about two different families. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a feel-good holiday movie. The whole family will enjoy it.
Its's cheesy, predictable and cliché, but isn't that what you want from a christmas romcom? The acting and production is pretty decent, and if you are looking for a stupid, festive and sweet film, this is definitely the film to watch.
To my surprise, this turns out to be one of my favorites among the many "Made for Television" holiday movies. The cast is an ensemble that does this heart warming story justice. It has a number of inner stories that all seem to get tied together in the end. Obviously, the love interest, but also the father who has stopped celebrating, the child taken away from a father by the war, the up and coming designer trying to make a go of it, the son who is trying to show his worth, and a number of other little threads to get tied together. And, you cannot miss Lauren Holly as the fashion designer. She is hilarious. There is a little something for everyone. Just a simple Christmas story to sit back and make you appreciate the holidays and bring a smile or two. If you don't like this one, you should probably be celebrating a different holiday.

- Gaffes16 minutes before the film's end, the elder Mr. Finley gives his son Jake a Bachmann "XL Express" H-O gauge toy train set. The father explains that the gift had been purchased 20 years earlier, before Jake's mother died, which would have been 1990. A large sticker on the toy train set reads "DVD format video instructions now included with this set." However, DVDs were not developed until 1995, and DVDs and DVD players were not available on the market until 1997.
