Avis à la une
When I first read the storyline I was a bit sceptic, but given that Vinay Pathak was in the cast I thought I would give it a go - and I'm glad I did. I loved the movie! It really goes to show that a brilliant movie can be made even on a low budget. The storyline is average, but its the way the movie has been fleshed out that gives it a high rating.
The new comers Jagrat and Sasha did an excellent performance as the newly weds. The problems in the relationship are gradually brought out where neither wife nor husband think they are doing anything wrong. Vinay Pathak was great as usual, making you laugh even with his simple expressions. Raima did well as the supporting actress. Nobody did any OTT acting, and the background scenery was beautiful. Would highly recommend to watch.

Tere Mere Phere review :
Deepa Sahi's directorial debut was a rom com cum road movie featuring two newbies - Jagrat and Sasha - alongwith Vinay Pathak and Riya Sen. With a wafer thin plot (written by Deepa herself), the film was more situational in approach relying on the wonderfully shot scenic Himachal locales.
Neither too bad not too great, Tere Mere Phere was an okey dokey fare. Of the cast, only Vinay Pathak left an impression. The newcomers disappointed big time. As for Maya Memsaab Deepa Sahi, she is a better actor than a director if one goes by this film. I wish she had acted in it.

This movie is spectacularly directed, acted and funny. All the actors are wonderfully chosen for their roles. Photography is great. I never enjoyed a Hindi movie as much as I enjoyed this one. I have yet to see a Vinay Pathak movie that I have not enjoyed but this one is by far the most enjoyable.
Add an enjoyable screenplay to the beautiful scenes from Himachal Pradesh , there is not a moment when you feel bored. The leading pair of Jagrat Desai and Sasha Goradia are refreshing new faces with a natural style of acting. I look forward to more wonderful movies from them.
The members of the Bhasin family are a riot - especially Rohan Shah. I do recall seeing Maya directed by Deepa Sahi many years ago. After seeing this movie, I must catch up with all her other work of the ensuing years.

A real Indian farce on marriages. What a delight. Some crackling fresh scenes. It has caught the patterns of the pointless fights that husbands and wives have in marriages. Some of the scenes, like the fight over drinking and how much the AC temperature should be, are so real. In fact the very same Ac fight happens in my family all the time! The new comers are slightly rough -edged, but considering how wooden some newcomers had been - who have now become so called 'stars'- Jagrat Desai and Sasha Goradia seem highly talented. Vinay Pathak's reactions, specially his silent ones, when the two are squabbling are hilarious. It goes to the credit of the director, who incidentally is a 'woman' (remember Deepa Sahi of Maya Memsaab fame) that she has not taken sides and gone in for male-bashing, as one would have expected. The dialogs are spoken and not fake. The Himalayas look glorious. Right from the streams to the winding roads to the desert mountains, Christo Bakalov has done a wonderful job as a cinematographer. Sometimes the 'low 'budget can be seen. The song picturisations are weak But overall it is such a true and funny film that it is a must see.
As all good singers may not be necessarily good composers too, the same can also be said about the actors turned directors in the movie-making business. The name Deepa Sahi written as the director of the film, looked perfect to me as I still have fresh memories of Deepa's outstanding portrayal as Maya in the film MAYA MEMSAAB. And post that era, the news of her being associated with many interesting projects backstage always gave me an impression of a thoughtful actor-producer who would do wonders, the moment she decides to direct her first film.
But TERE MERE PHERE gave me some severe shocks with its quite upsetting, distasteful content which has simply got nothing to offer to its audience. Its a badly written film, which tries to showcase the un- necessary problems of a recently married couple in a depressing manner. Vaguely attempted as a road movie too, it neither has an interesting storyline nor any engrossing performances which can keep you hooked on to the screen during its (thankfully) short duration.
Allowing a below average musical score in her film, Deepa Sahi disappoints big time with her first film. But I was even more upset with Vinay Pathak as the lead actor in the film. In fact, Vinay looked like seriously annoyed with his own choice of project throughout the movie and was completely out of form after a long time. The other newcomers in the cast cannot be blamed for their below par performances, since the director remains the main accused of that crime, but was really expecting a lot more from Vinay as usual. On the other side, contrary to everything I had in mind, Deepa Sahi as a director offers a terribly confused movie which even cannot be watched on a DVD in the comfort of your own house.
Though, it starts off well with a good initial sequence inside a plane, which fairly entertains the viewers. But the moment the film comes out of the aircraft, it becomes too difficult to bear with all its repetitive and meaningless sequences. However its only the eye-pleasing Cinematography, capturing the pleasing locales of Himachal Pradesh beautifully in the film, which at least gives you something in return for your time and money spent in the theater. So unless you can watch anything in the name of a comic road movie, simply give this a miss and save your energy.
