This time around, Safety Dan Number 1 is portrayed by Kevin Fleming, while Safety Dan Number 2 is portrayed by writer Brent DiCrescenzo, with no dialogue and his face completely covered in bandages. In their earlier appearances, the duo had been portrayed by Fleming and Leila Gorstein.
Marketing wiz Sue P. (from the sales department) leads the gang in a team-building exercise based on the "Yes, And" principle of improv comedy. (The unlikely pair of Bill's Mom and Roger Shaddup have difficulty with the game, with Shaddup just wanting everybody to shut up.) Sue P. is portrayed by Leila Gorstein, who has a background in improv comedy (training in Chicago with The Second City, etc.).
Impatient TV critic Roger Shaddup makes a rare appearance without his partner Jean Showacartoon.
Featured recurring characters include Sockeye Sam (the semi-intelligent sock puppet/financial advisor), The Safety Dans (who come to Bill's aid when he suffers a finger injury while playing paper football), Mel Attonin ("Peaceful Celebrity Painter"-turned fashion designer), Sue P. ("Sales"), Bill's Mom, and Roger Shaddup ("Important TV Critic").
