Anecdotes
The original screenplay was called "Pink Drink" and was a science fiction story about everyday people selected randomly to be cops. The "pink drink" referred to a barium-like liquid consumed by the selected that produced a hallucinatory robot guide used my Miles and others to help them fulfill their civil duties.
