Avis à la une
Spoofs are supposed to be made that way! Actually, I honestly think the acting is quite a bit better in this comedy. As well as the cast and the make-up! Which is pretty sad. Just goes to show how greedy Summit is that they don't want to shell out a few bucks on wardrobe and such for a great movie. In any case, if you're a fan of Twilight (as I am) and want a good laugh and are competent enough to understand that this film was created in good spirits, then I suggest you watch it. Otherwise, you can stay home and pout about this hilarious movie.
Seriously, what is the point of making "Vampire Sucks"? It's like remaking two films into one, but in a really bad way. The supposed spoofs are not even spoofs, but are just re-enactment of scenes from "Twilight" and "New Moon". The story is an amalgamation of the two films, but it is fragmented and incoherent. Most of the so called jokes are silly and simply ridiculous. There were a few one liners that made me chuckle, but most of the jokes were not funny.
Whatever you do, just don't pay to watch this.
It's not necessarily a good movie, but it's dumb fun and I could see it being more well-received in the near future, now that Twilight mania has settled down.

- AnecdotesFor the opening scene in which Edward strips off in broad daylight, Matt Lanter was actually nude with a real glitterball attached to his nether regions.
- GaffesWhen Alice is climbing out of the hole, someone throws a cell phone in her face. The phone-thrower's hand appears briefly on the right side of the screen.

- Versions alternativesThe UK release was cut, this film was originally shown to the BBFC in an unfinished version. The BBFC advised the distributor that the film was likely to receive a 15 classification but that the requested 12A classification could be obtained by making cuts in five sequences in order to remove sight of a flick knife being opened and to remove or reduce a number of crude visual and verbal sex references. When the finished version of the film was submitted, all five scenes had been reduced acceptably and the film was classified 12A.
