Amici miei - Come tutto ebbe inizio

In this movie they try to make a prequel of the famous "amici miei" series , setting the movie in the Renaissance , using even novels from the period.

The movie however does sucks: the acting is overally bad, even for the not so high level of the actors involved. The script is bad too, the plot could be valid but the implementation is not, too many gags.

The comparision with even the third (that is inferior one) Amici Miei movie is devastating , "come tutto ebbe inizio" is the usually college humour movie based upon the overdone performace of the comedians and nothing more.

The positive note is the productive effort with some decent sets an costumes , involving several actors like in the old times.

A failed effort since the final outcome is just a little bit better that the awful Christmas comedies of the decade.
