Like the last reviewer said, I wouldn't call this an anime. I mean, it's Chinese and not Japanese, but honestly, I kind of prefer that.

There's a lot of really cringey elements to Japanese anime that I find I always have to put up with, and this avoids those, while still making its main character quite interesting.

This anime takes such a simply concept (a person who powers up by bringing out negative emotions in others) and builds an amazingly deep story around that.

I can only say it was a masterpiece.

I don't know if I can call it anime, but I can assure you that at least it's in the top 10 anime.(at least)

In fact I was disappointed when I saw the number of viewers but I hope it will be known.

I know all of Chinese anime are not so well known in global but I wish the builders don't give up and continue it by the 2th season (as soon as possible)*.

This anime just too good next level. I really enjoyed it ,wished it didn't finish and waiting so badly for the next season will be a bang, thr whole thing was a beauty from first to last episode so I advice u all to give it a big try , it one of my favorite I'm an expert of animes so don't worry, also the animation and the graphics were great and music was there and the colors were extremely beautiful, tbh I would give it a 100 /100 one of the best short animes I ever watched if not the best , the vibes of it quite similar to great pretender but so much better , thank yall for reading my review.

The best thing about this show is its titles/credits.

The animation and its quality are subpar. The story and screenplay are extremely confusing and miss too many details for the plot to make sense. At episode 2 I was already struggling to understand what's happening. Too much is left to guess and riddle out as I'm watching.

The back story and the relationship of the two protagonists feels forced and half anssed and half-hearted. I've watched hundreds of animes before this and this felt off in many ways. The protagonist was a little hard to root for and halfway through the show I couldn't watch anymore, I just had to push through to get to the end. I feel like all the reviews I've seen everywhere have been lying or people who reviewed it with great ratings haven't really seen any anime before. Either that or the marketing team is real good.
