Catching on to this show just now but I must say it's become a favorite. Every episode is different with each having it's unique characteristics and problems. And George is just great, just a really likeable person who is totally knowledgeable about all the issues. I love the scenery and the great British countryside. Bravo George!

Starting in season four, the sound recording quality dropped precipitously and the man in charge of balancing music and voice was a complete idiot. The music was so loud you could not understand a word they said.

Great quintessential English classical, hymns, and folk music in season 1. It really added so much to the show.

The music drastically changed between seasons, which is disappointing; it seems more generic.

The short animated clips were amusing but seemed to cost a lot; no wonder they disappeared in season 2.

The host is fantastic! Very knowledgeable! Wow.

I wonder how the homeowners were selected to be on the show. Some of the folks probably could have been left off the show, to be honest.

I'm glad that he features a mix of styles and types of builds and that they are not all modern builds.

Why, oh why, must you fill every second with terrible and unnecessary music, or noise? The music, from the beginning, is too much, too loud. You cannot hear what is being said. Any sound person worth their salt, will ensure the music is light and in the background. This ruins the shows.
