Effects on the computer screen are OK. Acting from the sole actor is OK. It's just kinda pointless. The plot doesn't lead very far. The lead character bounces between staring at the screen in frustration and shuffling through the woods.

I got some help finishing this review. Crypto Shadows promised a thrilling dive into the world of cryptocurrency and espionage, but delivered nothing but disappointment. The storyline was convoluted, jumping from one poorly explained crypto heist to another without ever making sense of the stakes involved. The characters were as flat as day-old soda, lacking any depth or development to make us care about their fates. Even worse, the attempts at suspense fell flat with predictable plot twists that were more yawn-inducing than shocking. Save your time and money for a film that actually delivers on its promises.

Anyone giving this a high rating is lying! Do NOT believe them and waste your time like I did! ZERO chance this is s 7 movie!

Basically a 1 person cast. Lame plot, lame 'action', ridiculous ending.

There was nothing in this movie that made any sense. Worst portrayal of some super hacker/high skill computer person ever. She's so smart but keeps getting 'hacked'. She's being chased, but no one ever tries to really get her. She's what, rich to afford her set-up on acres and acres including and underground bunker? No backstory whatsoever.

The main character is all over the place with her emotions, acting, work practices, everything. It's bad!

I've already told you how bad it is but I have to meet this 500 word requirement! Why does this exist?!? If you can't say what you think succinctly it's not worth saying it.

Anyway, you been warned.

Crypto Shadows is a multiple award-winning collaboration between Amy Kay DuBoff and James Fox, who themselves are acclaimed award-winners in writing and other artistic fields. It is a superb techno-thriller starring Mikayla Iverson, who is the only actor whose face appears on screen. She more than holds her own as she is stalked and eventually hunted by an unnamed clandestine agency, after she stumbles into a mind numbing secret in the course of her work.

Miss Iverson's character, Cara Hammond, is forced to try to determine who is after her, and why, as her computer defenses, personal identity, and ultimately, her very life are attacked at her remote location.

Crypto Shadows is a fast-paced, suspense-filled film showcasing beautiful scenery and outstanding acting and writing, and the viewer does not need to be technically savvy to appreciate and enjoy it.

Crypto Shadows captivated my attention from beginning to end. The slow dynamic build of story and character development took me on a dramatic and suspenseful journey that culminated in a thrilling climax and an unexpected resolution.

Mikayla Iverson's performance was outstanding. Her raw and emotional portrayal of Cara, a woman seeking solace on a secluded family ranch after a life-altering trauma, left me with a sense of both compassion and an understanding of the resilience of the human condition.

This film was beautifully shot and edited with inspirirational direction and sound design. I would highly recommend taking the time to indulge in this nail biting, dramatic cinematic experience. You won't be disappointed!

As someone who really appreciates art it was hard to look over how beautiful and interesting the set of this film. It felt so real. Also the stark contrast of the wilderness surrounding the technological hidey -hole was really interesting.

As for the story I was not sure I'd be able to keep up with the deeper meaning of the story because I'm not a tech savvy person at all but anyone could get into this. The suspense was killing me, and things got pretty heated. When I finally got to the part where I realized why everything was happening I did not want this movie to end. I don't want to leave any spoilers here but this is the first time I've ever seen this concept in a movie and I have sooo many questions.

I feel there is more left in this story and I am keeping my fingers crossed that there is more to come!!
