Shot in many of the same locations as Paul Thomas Andersons' Phantom Thread (2017). The same street in Staithes, North Yorkshire, can clearly be seen in both films.
Was shot in late in 2022 (before AI video was a thing) and post production was delayed until the director finished another project. By the time they got to do post production AI video had arrived on the filmmaking scene and was deemed good enough to be used in for SFX shots on this film.
The live action on location portion of the film, was shot in just four days.
Used AI tools such as Runway ML, KLING, LUMALABS, LTX studios to do the SFX shots -potentially, the first live action feature film to use these tools exclusively for SFX. They also used AI to help with the sound.
The director/ writer also acts as his own DOP.
