Producers Bil Mechanic and Adam Shankman have confirmed that this year's awards will bring back many of last year's well received elements, such as having five past winners present the Acting awards.
In addition, David Rockwell, the set designer of the 81st Oscars, has been hired by producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman to design the set for the 82nd Oscars, and Gina Tuttle, the announcer of last year's awards, will return for this year's ceremony.
