Anecdotes
The scenes in Hex's chamber, where all the magic spells are concocted, were shot in the basement of a Baptist church.

Gaffes
When Frankenberry is auditioning for the nightclub and Hex appears in the back corner, the first shot shows Hex's hair being curly. The scene cuts away and then back to her, showing that her hair is now straight. The next cut after shows her hair being curly again.
