This movie is definitely not like thalainagaram 1.... There is no even single comedy scene in the movie . This movie rides on gore , violence.... And definitely one of a kind of movie... Status like John wick... And proceeds on a more or less fast paced movie... This movie definitely to be avoided by family and weak hearted... Ego , arrogance, power are not defined for one person... The main story root... definitely not as bad being rated here... Can be watched... hopefully thalainagaram 3 as the lead being given.. can be made... bgm was good.... Villains were a real threat.. showed in more realistically.

The screenplay is good. The action scenes are very intense and massy. The twist is unexpected, and some dialogues are really great. Especially the final dialogue, "NO1...."

Some scenes are slow and boring, but the action scenes are so good that they digest the boring scenes.

Excellent movie. Waiting for part 3 with Sundar. C. Will be good if directed n acted by Sundar. C. If possible please get Vadivelu also like earlier movie. Sundar C Waiting for part 3 of Thalainagaram n part 4 of Aranmanai. Please do oblige and do it fast. Moreover this movie with Right being soft and comes to help clearing society is really excellent and really exciting. But 17 times getting stabbed was not that good. Sundar sir please do something else where u come to know and escape or something like after drinking u become more active. But overall excellent movie. People giving stars or ranking are biased. Please review has to be taken by fans or People watching movie and not some stupid critics who like to please high budget movies. This movie is excellent.

This movie has all the qualities to be a super hit.

Screenplay is gripping until the climax and Sundar C has given the most settled acting in his whole career.

I really don't understand why it is rated very low by the reviewer.

Don't expect comedy, Unwanted emotions and sentiment which is deep. It is raw, Powerful dialogues and well maintained thriller for entire running time.

Positive: 1) Sundar C screen presence, Fight and raw dialogues that connect "Right" past.

2) For sure, It's movie villain. Each have unique character and shown in an excellent way and story play synced well throught the presence of villain

Negative:

1) Thambi Ramaiah comedy didn't work.

It is come back for Sundar C.

I watched Thalainagaram 1 around 17 years ago. It was a mix of comedy and romance. But "Thalainagaram 2" is totally a different movie without even a single comedy scene. This time Sundar C played the role of "Right" as retired gangster and definitely one of the memorable role done by him. He appeared in a mass role considering for a average budget movie, he did the role perfectly without any punch dialogue. The beginning felt like John Wick, however the plot is quite good. The end scene seems like there will be Part 3. Good to see Tamil cinema finally making sequels based on decades long movies.
