Avis à la une
The Script was terrible; But, i could tolerate it. On the other hand the Choreography was the worst. Carlton Banks can dance better than the lead character. Just horrible. If you want to watch ANY stomp the yard, just keep the original on repeat.
Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming
All ethnicities enjoy dance in their own way. Latin Americans like to tango, Indians like to Bhangra, while Caucasians like to watch dance themed television shows.
As for African Americans, according to this sequel, they like to dance in-between their university classes.
When new Theta Nus pledge Chance (Collins Pennie) is pegged as the top stepper in his fraternity's crew, the pressure is on him to win the upcoming national step-off competition.
Making matters worse is the fact that his father (Keith David) and the leader of a rival dance crew (Twitch) are both hoping that Chance chokes.
A left footed attempt at establishing a dance franchise, Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming lacks the script, the stars, and the choreography needed to exceed the original Stomp the Yard.
Besides, due to the increase in campus violence, it's hard to tell if students in the quad are dancing or dodging bullets. (Red Light)

Well all i can say is that this movie is OK to watch but after watching to the end then you would realise that it was a bit weak....the plot was OK...the acting was OK...a bit exaggerated at certain parts. It was very very predictable though....but trust me it is way better than the back up plan...with J'lo......(i would say that movie was the worst for 2010) Stomp the yard 2 in my opinion was done in a rush. I mean i think the makers of this movie weren't too keen on out doing the 1st one but just wanted to do a dance movie in a hurry and reap of unsuspecting movie goers like you and i. So I am sure their plan was that by the time you would realise that the movie sucked ass, you would have already paid to be in the cinema hall. It is worth watching on your laptop, after all if you got it for free from a pal who downloaded it then its worth watching. At least it is a great a opportunity to use it to kill 1.20hrs of time if don't have anything to do or if u don't have anywhere to go. Other wise i recommend Scott Pilgrim vs the world
i give it 3 stars

OK... First hearing about the sequel I was pretty much excited being that I enjoyed the first one especially the cast. But boy was I let down. The dancing and the stepping was horrible; it feels like they didn't even try to surpass the moves they did in the first film; if anything it fell way too short. The cast on the other hand; mixed reviews on that one (some could act and some couldn't). The storyline was pretty much generic and boring. The movie is 1hr and 27mins but at some points felt longer due to its slow pace and not being as entertaining. However I gave the movie 5/10 because although it didn't meet my expectations I would not say its the worse movie every made besides I added an extra star because the scenes Columbus Short was in put a smile on my face (THETA WHAT?).
*Don't be discouraged by my review; its all subjective. You just may like it; it just did not exceed my expectations.

Compared to the first one, this is too whack for any viewing. Looked like Tyler Perry hijacked the production. Sorry for being honest but they should have done a better job.

- AnecdotesIt was erroneously reported that Terry Crews would have a role in the film. According to Crews, he only visited a friend on the set one day and was never cast in the film.
- GaffesMu gamma psi misspells psi in their finals performance. "M-U-G-A-M-M-A-S-I" The Greek letter psi is spelled P-S-I.
