Avis à la une
In the age of movies with a lot of computer-generated graphics, it was very refreshing to see Alive Hoon which features many top-level Japanese drift drivers. All of what you will see is real motion. The movie will be relatable to many of the people like myself whom got into cars as a result of Gran Turismo was a great hit. 1997 is when my love of cars began from GT1 now I am a pro drifter and pro automotive performance shop owner living in Japan!!

People who are great at racing and people who are skilled in electric racing might seem unrelated, but once they step into each other's territory, it's a whole different experience. The whole underdog rising to success thing might be a bit cliché, but it also shows you that the difference between the virtual world and real life is all about physical strength and the will to survive. You've gotta grab your own opportunities to earn that trust from the team. But this Japanese movie, man, it really captures the racing world's perspective with those sick drifts on the track, and that intense rush from the front view of the car. And you know what? It also hints at the real-life business sponsorships in racing and the cold, hard decisions behind the scenes.
This movie was dope and one of the best racing related movies I've seen in awhile. A long time friend put me on with drifting through GT to be exact. Miss the days of being able to actually go to a drift competition. The production that went into this was well thought out and it was a joy to watch. The driving scenes were all fast-paced and beautifully done without the need for any CGI nonsense. A classic underdog story which teaches to believe in one's self and also to never underestimate anybody for anyone can rise up and be a champion of something. Real drivers and real cars whats not to like? 100% recommend.
The director spent three years researching, planning, and writing the script for this original story about an e-sports racer aiming for the pinnacle of real drifting.
The racing scenes are amazing, with the king of drifting supervising and past D1 champions participating as drivers!
The sound of the engines, the smoke from the explosions, and the camera work are "breathtaking."
The footage is shot from angles never seen before, so it's even more awesome than the actual racing!
The intersection of virtual and real is also great!
Also, the music is cool!
If you see it in a movie theater, your senses will be stimulated and even if you are not a car enthusiast, you will be moved by it.
The actors' performances are also excellent, and I watched the movie without blinking or holding my breath from beginning to end.
The king of drifting said, "I think this is a movie that car lovers all over the world will admire.
The Drift Champion said, "I'm sure you've seen all kinds of awesome drifting driving scenes on DVD before, but it's not on that level, it's more awesome! The drifting driving in the movie is not at that level!" He evaluated the film as follows.
The people involved are amazing!
Naoki Nakamura (Drift Grand Prix Series Champion in 2021)
Taigo Saito (World's first "Lamborghini" Drift)
Masato Kawabata (The holder of the Guinness World Record for the fastest drifting)
Sumika Kubokawa (Drift Ladies League champion for three consecutive years)
Masashi Yokoi (Drift Grand Prix Series Champion in 2018 and 2019)
I don't think anyone would say this movie wasn't interesting.
I could feel the "passion" of Director Shimoyama Ten who directed and edited the film. Thank you for the emotion!
This is the best movie in Japan! As a Japanese, this is my favorite Japanese movie.

This is the best movie in Japan! As a Japanese, this is my favorite Japanese movie.
This is easily at the top of the list for an action movie that has driving with a story line. It captures the heart of those that grew up playing racing games and plucks the heartstrings of the dreamer in you of becoming a race car driver one day. The best parts are the ones that a normal person who doesn't know cars can understand but also someone who drives, and more importantly drifts, sees as an important detail in the driving. (We are all tired of 27 gear changes in a chase scene from the other movies) (NO SERIOUSLY!!) Overall, this is a great movie and can be appreciated by all who watch.
