Avis à la une
The production house behind this delightful show, is known for its innovative and inclusive content for children. When I received an invitation from Lopii Productions to be a guest on their show as a Bollywood dance choreographer, I was thrilled and honoured. It was a wonderful opportunity to not only showcase my art but also spread the message of inclusivity and diversity to a young audience.
I arrived at the Lopii studio on the day of the shoot, and I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and hugs from the team. The production house had a vibrant and positive energy that was infectious. As I walked into the studio, I could see the sets for the show, which were bright and colourful, perfect for a preschool audience. I was introduced to Fay and Fluffy, who were the hosts of the show and the main attraction for the children. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and I knew we were going to have a great time working together.
The show began, and I was invited on stage to speak about Bollywood dance. I shared the history and cultural significance of this vibrant dance form, and I could see the children's eyes light up with excitement. I also taught them a few simple Bollywood dance steps, and they eagerly followed along. It was heartwarming to see how open and accepting the young audience was towards a dance style that was new to them. After the segment on Bollywood dance, I was invited to sit on the couch with Fay and Fluffy for a chat. They asked me about my journey as a dance choreographer, and I shared my experiences of working in the entertainment industry. We also discussed the importance of diversity and representation in the media, especially for children. It was refreshing to see how the production house actively promoted these values through their show.
As the show came to an end, I was overwhelmed with the love and support I received from the Lopii team. They truly made me feel like a valued artist and a part of their family. We ended the day with a group photo, and I left the studio with a sense of fulfilment and happiness. Being a part of The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy was not just about showcasing my art, but it was also about spreading a message of acceptance and love. Lopii Productions' commitment to creating inclusive content for children is truly inspiring, and I am grateful to have been a part of it. I hope that through this experience, I was able to inspire the young audience to embrace diversity and celebrate their uniqueness. Thank you, Lopii Productions, for the wonderful opportunity.
People of all ages would love this show, but parents can be rest assured when their little ones watch it that they are engaging in image- positive and inclusive fun!
This show is not just for members of the LGBTQS+ community. The books read and messages given would be a great addition to any family's television line-up.
Definetely would reccomend.
I was waiting for something questionable I could use in the review to temper the general enthusiasm I have. No one trusts purely happy reviews, right? But while I could nitpick that some jokes are corny- they're supposed to be. And everyone (including the child talent) is obviously having a fantastic time. Fay and Fluffy are priceless treasures.
Side note, the production is ethical enough that I don't feel like the team is being exploited... but I know that is a secondary concern for many viewers.
I keep looking to see if they'll make more. No news yet... or maybe I'm not looking in the right place?
It's great for kids but also something that their grownups will find themselves enjoying.
Season One covers so many great topics, but we particularly enjoyed the discussions on being yourself, understanding your emotions, types of families and the way the topic of racism was handled. The repetitive format is great for kids, especially the Story Time segment. We also really enjoyed the special guests chosen and what they contributed to each episode. Grownups may even see some familiar faces.
What a great opportunity for the kids in the studio audience as well. It is fun to watch their reactions and listen to their great answers to Fay and Fluffy's questions. Many episodes have prompted discussions in our house after the show.
We can't wait to see what Season Two brings. We'll be watching!
