Loved it. Great Welsh and Irish speakers, clear and succinct. Acting and camera work were outstanding. Very unusual stories, yet had a weird connection to our times as well. I wasn't expecting a large blockbuster and was looking for a small independent film. Was I in for a surprise, extremely powerful acting and close camera work drew me in, without overwhelming me with wide set-pieces where it feels like everything has been thrown at the screen and every inch of every frame has been filled with movement wherever possible. I'd imagine everyone with a brain will enjoy this indie film. I was hoping to see some dwarfs though. But you'll love the tall pointy Druid wizard hats! See at all costs.
You can watch it on their official website, streaming. The cinematography is so close to the powerful acting performances that I was pulled in and and couldn't stop watching. Then suddenly the 45 minutes was up. I want to see more! The Gaelic (Irish) lines were great to hear!
Mystery, a sense of mystery was in the air. These Celtic gods were talking about what they had seen elsewhere under the Roman occupation and while Gods they also seemed vulnerable and human, this was fascinating to see and the actors brought this sense of conscience and empathy that we don't normally associate with inhuman Gods, and this is true to Celtic culture as many of the gods were half human, demigods. There was weakness and strength. Mortality and Immortality in each God.
The writer-director and actors are superstars to bring this all to life.
If you want to see an alternative story of Gods/Mortals speaking, this is the movie series for you. It brings ancient Druid Celtic myth, history, religion, to life in our time.

Original Story from the Celtic Gods point of view
I ran across this Episode I on YouTube and found it original and unique. I had never seen a Celtic historical mythological movie before in which the Celtic Druid Gods actually spoke. I think they have a real possibility of finding a place between mythological series with dragons, such as Game of Thrones, and more rigid historical series like Vikings. The period accurate broken dialogue took a bit of getting used to, but I found myself thinking between the lines of what they were thinking and meaning to convey. I'd rather have broken Celtic dialogue than smooth soap opera dialogue.
The acting is top notch. I found the fresh faces immensely entertaining, as I get tired of seeing the same faces in the bigger budget movies ad infinitum. These are talents that we will surely see more of in movies. It's very hard portraying Celtic Gods who have lost much of their powers and are what seems, almost mortals again. Very challenging tough roles and all of these actors carried it well.
Sure if you're looking for a large budget historical movie series, just change the channel. This film series is very small now, but could quickly grow into an epic production because it has a unique voice. It's very well written, raising key points of their time under Roman Empire occupation, as we face today in our countries. The writing is both eternal and current.
I loved the weird blue Celtic Druid designs on their faces and hands. Almost like the Celtic Gods were crying streams of blue tears.
It's a fantastic experience.

Surely the best scripted, best directed, best filmed well placed accents best acted excellent movie series ever to be made. Pacing in dialogue pauses and delivery give a sense of the Bronze Age, as opposed to the 1600's rapid-fire Shakespearean stage, and true emotion to the Bronze Age era when vocabulary was limited and emotion more pronounced. Historically accurate, and truly beyond wonderful. On Twitter, rebel archaeologists who were outside the establishment narrative of history, and from all over the world were recognizing how true the stories likely were, and staunchly defended the decidedly Druid, Celtic, Heathen and Pagan view of history. The public support has increased the funding and the series continues to grow, the widespread public support has enabled the series to complete Season 3. As somebody who loves series like The Outlander, The Witcher, Game of Thrones, Lord of Rings: Rings of Power, I feel so grateful for any actor having this on their CV. If you are an educated Scotsman with a great grasp of archaeology, time or place you will be immensely attracted to it, it is as magnificent as hot fish 'n' chips.
I enjoyed every minute of this. Great to see excellent pronunciations of the Welsh, Scottish and Irish lines, it's a thrill to see this in films.
Powerful acting performances. Beautiful closeup camera work. Amazing makeup, wardrobe and textures. Natural forest lighting. Controversial heretical plot. A small independent film series made for $5,000 (according to their official website). Don't expect a $50 million "Vikings", "Britannia", "Game of Thrones", production, but will surely become that big.
Powerful acting by extremely gifted and dedicated actors. I was amazed, they will soon be world famous. Their emotional power and subtlety instantly capture us. At first I was caught off by the dialogue, as it was unlike anything I had ever seen in a movie. Then I read on their website that it was Celtic Iron Age dialogue, which didn't have all the vocabulary or grammar we have today, so then it made sense, but wow. That does take some getting used to. I love how they switch into real Irish, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic
Beautiful cinematography of the actors in closeup to catch all their emotions. Filmed in what seems like a Druid forest grove with natural lighting coming down through the forest trees, occasional wind blowing hair and fog coming through. Camera work which frames and focuses on just the actors performance, not some big production set. Truly indie movie camera work.
Makeup, wardrobe and props, with all the texture and detail I expected from a historical Celtic film. Huge apparently steel Druid 'religious books', spears, banners, all were there as I expected to see, and more.
Plot is very controversial as it tells 'history from the Celtic view, not the establishment court historians' according to their official website. This storyline is sure to upset those have been taught the establishment history version. It is original in it's vision. This Celtics film series will become big because it has a niche of its own , and a sense of real talent over big names.
This is truly a film series that Thinks Differently and Questions Authority.
A must see.
