I was very impressed with this film. Yes it's a small independent movie but there was so much to like and it was very well done. I thought the cast was great and the direction was solid but what I liked most of all was the story. I was unable to figure out exactly what was going on until the very end when it wraps up and wraps up nicely. It moves a little slow at times but the pacing fits the tone of the movie and I never lost interest. Best of all it has a really nice pay off if you just stay with it. The lead actor was great and of course Tobin Bell was magnificent as always. I would very much recommend this movie. 8/10.
ReBroken is a great. It's one of those things I don't think I'd want to tell you too much about, in fear of spoiling everything about it. There's definitely more than meets the eye in this film, and what really keeps the intrigue going is the editing. Tobin Bell (Saw) is also in the film, portraying a smaller, yet vital role as a mysterious homeless man on the outskirts of town. It's amazing how small his roles can sometimes be, and yet still be something that's hard to forget.
Scott Hamm plays the grieving father in this film, and it's a combination of his own performance and the repetition of the editing that really helps sell the idea of what he's personally going through. He wants out of that cycle - and therapy isn't helping. So, he's considering alternative "cures", so to speak.
Definitely check it out. I found the entire film to be a lot of fun overall.

What a great watch! It's a thriller that actually pulls pulls off some misdirection. It truly is captivating film that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. This film masterfully weaves together complex themes of love, loss, and redemption in a way that is both heartfelt and inspiring. Overall, "ReBroken" is a must-see film that is sure to leave a lasting impression on audiences. It is a powerful, emotional journey that will leave viewers feeling inspired, uplifted, and grateful for the precious gift of life. It's a fun watch if you just want something entertaining and fun! Check it out!
Going into this, I was hoping for an atmospheric, supernatural/ghost movie. It had been classified as a Horror movie in some forums, and being a sucker for that kind of thing I dived in. But classifying this movie is like trying to keep eels in a bucket. At it's core, it is a study in grief, loss and addiction, and for that it has a slight horror element. But the only real scary thing going on here is the all to familiar decline of a previously decent guy, through no real fault of his own {sort of} The acting is superb throughout, and the story slowly unravels its layers. It is not a movie for thrill seekers and gore hounds. It is a slow paced, thoughtful and absorbing film, and the pay off at the end is, perhaps a little predictable, but no less powerful.
Truly such a great film that leaves you feeling like "woah." As soon as you think you've figured it out, you realize you don't at all, but in the best way! It's an emotional and heartbreaking story that leaves you wanting to hug your loved ones. Every one in the film plays their role so well, and has you feeling every kind of emotion. I highly recommend.
I'm not usually a fan of "scary" movies, but this is not like that at all. There aren't any cheap scares or overacting, it's just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, without going over the top.
The story, the acting, the cinematography, everything is so well done.
