After the suicide of her unfaithful husband a teacher joins an exclusive dating agency to seek revenge against the scheming mistress who betrayed him. Kim Hee-sun is the lead and her and the rest of the cast do an ok job. My issue is with the plot which doesn't allow for character development and so you feel no empathy for any of them. It also seems to be ticking boxes joining certain events with loose thread, and lacks the pacing necessary to make the story flow. The most interesting character is the villain played by Eugene Jung and she is the protagonist which made me want to watch it till the end.

The plot got me hooked from the first episode, which is rare for a k drama, so points for that. It's the kind of show that doesn't let you get bored or feel like using your phone while watching, it truly pulls you in. The revenge plot was well executed, and the acting of the villain was top notch. I think this drama shows how rejection and humiliation can drive people into insanity and pure evil, so I love how deeply the villain's backstory was portrayed . That said, the ending felt rushed and the romance between the leads wasn't properly developed. The chemistry was a bit off too.

The first half is confusing. Lots of characters are introduced and it's hard to figure out who is who. Bad directing. That masquerade party is confusing. But half way through when things come together its gets quite exciting. From ep4-8 it was gripping with all the soapy elements coming into play. Love triangle revenge drama mother in law disapproval corruption. Jung Yoo Jin gets a chance to play a real psycho villain for a change from her roles in Snowdrop and Something in the Rain. She has a great figure. Kim Hee Sun looks good with black hair. Complete satisfying ending.

No wonder this show was highly rated.

Omg this show was phenomenal! Gah! I knew from the trailer it was going to be good but damn it was Amazing! From the first episode I was hooked I binged it all in one sitting, didn't get anything I was supposed to do done today... but I have no raggggrets! 🤣 it was so addictive and full of twists! You immediately feel for the female lead and want her to get everything! This drama puts the Din Drama! The woman are fierce and no one wants to lose! Gahhhhh, I swear I offed that skannnnk like 311 times on my mind and she was like a cockroach that just wouldn't die!!!! The acting was fantastic! You really get into the show, and hang on for the next big boom. The men, gahhhhh our main lead is quickly becoming one of my new favorites, he's incredibly handsome in a mysterious way, he's sexy without trying to be. Gahhhh he had me daydreaming. And our second lead like coke on seriously, what a man! He's gorgeous and truly cares for our main girl, only has eyes for her and puts her before anything and anyone. He easily Stole my heart, I swoooned wayyy too many times! He was the definition of a Good Man! He is definitely making the list of kdrama boyfriends! I loved the ending, and come on 8 episodes was wayy too short I needed more!

I'm glad I gave it a try despite the low rating. It's a high quality korean production, very captivating story, overall very entertaining.

I wish it was 12 episodes intead of 8, to allow for more character and romance development. The actors are great, despite the age difference.
