Avis à la une
I have no idea what people are smoking or drinking to give this movie a high rating. Seriously, someone found this erotic? Wow they must be desperate for a date because there was nothing erotic about it. I don't have any complaints about the characters or some decent visuals. But the whole movie seemed like it was a rip off of much better movies and just seemed far too unrealistic. There were far too many flaws to overlook. It was a very poorly executed and paced movie. As others mentioned, explosives that did very little damage and bombers that drop full loads with barely a scratch to the terrain. This honestly wasn't even worth the watch. I would have been better off watching The Dirty Dozen again instead of this nonsense.
Funny that the title of the movie actually would turn out to be a dead give-away on the contents of the actual movie. Who knew?
When I sat down to watch the 2021 war movie "Hell Hath No Fury" from writers Katharine Lee McEwan and Romain Serir, I must admit that I was expecting a tad more than what the movie actually delivered. Now, don't get me wrong here, because I am not saying that "Hell Hath No Fury" was a bad movie. It was just bland and somewhat anti-climatic. Especially since the movie's cover/poster lead on to believe t hat there was a lot more action in the movie than it turned out.
The storyline told in "Hell Hath No Fury" was simple to follow, for better or worse. However, for my liking, then the simplicity of the storyline was inadequate, because it made for a less than mediocre movie experience. And especially so since you could essentially leave the movie running for an extended time and come back, only to find you have missed out on nothing important to the plot.
They did have a good ensemble of performers in the movie, with the likes of Nina Bergman, Louis Mandylor and a very well-cast Daniel Bernhardt. I will say that especially Louis Mandylor and Daniel Bernhardt stood out in the movie with their individual performances, and they really made the movie watchable.
"Hell Hath No Fury" was sort of disappointing for a war movie. And I had expected a tad more from director Jesse V. Johnson here. But it was watchable, if that counts for something.
I am rating "Hell Hath No Fury" a bland and mediocre five out of ten stars.

There are fans of cast members of this film and employees of the production company that supposedly cannot understand why this video received negative reviews, so I would like to see if I can provide some insight. I gave this one a very generous 4-star rating, by the way.
Let's start with costumes. Only one of the Americans has a division insignia on his uniform, and that's the major, who has no rank insignia and no vertical stripe on the back of his helmet. Instead of tan double-buckle boots or brown service shoes with leggings, he's wearing black combat boots that look like the style the Army issued to me in 1986.
Next, let's talk about the script. Early on, one of the soldiers addresses the major as "Top", which is the nickname for a company first sergeant.
Then we have to discuss facts. The video's token African American, who would not be in the same unit as White soldiers during WW2, states that he's from Harlem (where else?), "home of Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louie Armstrong." Nat King Cole was born in Alabama, raised in Chicago, and settled in Los Angeles. Louis Armstrong is well-known to have been born and raised in New Orleans, where the current international airport is named for him.
Special effects come next. Near the end, three sticks of dynamite explode under a jeep, which would have thrown the jeep several yards and heavily damaged it, yet the explosion is very small and the jeep doesn't move.
These are of course just examples of many problems in each category that I gave. I ended up giving this one four stars because the producers made it seem like they were trying to make a good film, and because the actors did what they could with the script they were given.

The story: a small group of American soldiers are searching for Nazi gold, during the last days of world war 2. They have to fight till the bitter end though to find the gold. Will they find the gold and get out alive?
Upon first look this seems to be a B-movie, with B-listed actors. But looks can deceive, because this is a rock solid, tough, original, well acted war movie. And I have seen A LOT of war movies in my lifetime and I really appreciate this new edition, for what it is: straightforward action, WITH good dialogues and good acting performances.
8 stars because of these good acting performances combined with this gritty, bleak story, which is captivating and suspenseful from the beginning till the end. Definitely an unknown war movie gem!
Not anything bad? This is NOT a glorifying war movie. It's nasty, ugly and everybody is following his lowest and meanest impulses. NOT a happy end either. And there is a powerful female action character that first seduces and then kicks the men around. If you are not into these things, then you might wanna pass it by...

It was a decent low budget production. When I first saw the utterly ridiculous low overall rating at 3.7, I flipped over to see what the professional critics thought on Rotten Tomatz (88%), so I'm glad I did.
Sure this is no epic Hollywood big budget war film, but is well casted and acted, especially Mandylor and Murphy as the battle-worn and ready American fighters, and Bernhardt as Von Bruckner. The alluring little rocket Nina Bergman was great until the cemetery acts; she either over-acted or looked angry all the time, for no reason. But her performance overall was noteworthy.
The cinematography was excellent and the directing great. The writing by the two amateur writers was lacklustre for the most part, with many plot and technical issues. The 94 min runtime screenplay needed many cuts and edits. It was too long for the barely climatic and too-short storied screenplay.
Yet still, for pretty much a one location set, low budget B film, it's a good one time watch. It's a well deserved 7/10 from me.

- AnecdotesA pretty common and erroneous mistake people make is thinking that the Army Air Forces was called the Army Air Corps during the war. On June 20th, 1941 the Air Corps was renamed the Army Air Forces. American servicemen started to refer to it as the Air Force, or Army Air Forces, not the Air Corps.
- GaffesWhen the Germans are approaching the cemetery, one if them is riding a motorcycle with a Wehrmacht (army) plate WH-72172. An SS division motorcycle would have an SS- plate.
