I loved this movie; it's the first Moroccan superhero! It showcases our culture with incredible costumes and sets right in the heart of Moroccan traditions and customs. Frankly, 10 out of 10 for this film, and I hope this is just the beginning. The song of the artistes soprano at the beginning are icredible It highlights Africa and all its splendor. For a first film by Anouar Moatassim, I feel recognized as an African.

Atoman talks about a young hacker who takes his superpowers from his heritage and his ancestral culture. He figures out by coincidence that he is the one. Like Spiderman. The story talks also about an artifact that gives superpowers to his possessor who should be an unique person. And this artifact in the wrong hands threatens the existence of the world. The cinematic is frenetic and some fight scenes are cool. The movie looks like the chinese and indian productions with a nationalist message. Not boring but addressed more to a local audience. The country where the movie is located is Morocco in North Africa.

I had high hopes going into Atoman, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming movie experiences I've had in a long time. The film completely fails to deliver on every front. There are virtually no special effects to speak of-an unforgivable flaw for a movie in this genre. The story is paper-thin, with no real world-building or character development, leaving viewers disconnected and uninterested. To make matters worse, the acting is painfully amateurish, making it difficult to stay engaged or take the plot seriously. Overall, Atoman feels like a missed opportunity and a waste of time. I cannot recommend it.

While it may not be a blockbuster like Marvel, its strength lies in its important message to change the narrative and provide representation for communities that often go unnoticed. The film truly judges from the perspective of the kids and their experiences, offering a fresh and authentic voice. It's a commendable effort to empower young minds and promote cultural pride. Highly recommended for anyone looking to see stories that matter and reflect diverse reality.

What truly makes Atoman special is its spirit. It's not trying to be Marvel-and that's its strength. It's raw, authentic, and filled with heart. The breathtaking scenery and culturally infused story serve as a love letter to Morocco and a bold invitation for African filmmakers to tell their own stories.

Special applause must go to Aicha, whose work behind the scenes helped shape this gem. Her vision and passion as co-producer helped bring Atoman to life, showing what's possible when bold dreams meet action.
