Mon amie Lucky

I love everything about this movie....Loved the cast and wanted to garb sweet Lucky and bring her home....The movie has a bit of everything including family, romance, challenge and Lucky bravely saving the kids from a forest fire. The plot line is great and it is a feel good movie with few negative vibes....Lucky does her best to steal your heart away and has me in tears every time i watch this really great movie again....It is a sweet movie than will make you smile and if you are a sucker for adorable little Border Collies may bring a few tears to your eyes. This movie is a refreshing reminder of what really is important in our daily lives and reminds us how much good is still out there if we just stay focused and upbeat....Yes I recommend it. It's a good, heartwarming story of a family bonding over the training of a dog. And it sheds interesting light on what goes into the training of sheep dogs.

What do you really want out of a movie? To escape from real life for 90 minutes or so>? To fantasize a little? Or do you want to be inspired to try a little harder, to look beyond the obvious? If the latter, than this movie may delight you. Rare that my eight year old son and I can really enjoy a movie equally well, but we did here. No aliens were harmed in the making of this movie, and you may just have a smile on your face at the end. The real message of this movie, to follow your dream- and to face your realities, is a timeless one for us all. Another reviewer dismissed the kindly old father who could get snappy. In my world we call this reality, and for me it made the movie MORE real, as in real life personalities and foibles. A family favorite at our house, maybe soon in yours. Happy movie hunting!
