Avis à la une
this animated offering from marvel is quite good.i liked the story.it's nice to see a little thought put into it once in awhile.it doesn't take a back seat to the action.in fact,i think the balance between the two is about even.the action sequences are well done, and some are fairly graphic, and bloody.this is a 14A film, for sure.the voice acing is terrific here.Rick D. Wasserman provides the Hulk's voice and i don't think anyone could be more suitable.equally as impressive is Paul Dobson as the voice of Beta Ray Bill.i'm also glad they included such a great character in the movie.there are some other great characters as well.for me,Planet Hulk is an 8/10
In recent years, the animated straight to video market has done much to rid itself of the stigma that "Direct to DVD" was a code word for "Awful". These new films are much more sophisticated than their predecessors, and make no mistake, 'Planet Hulk' is *not* a kids film. In fact, I'd say this was more violent than either of the two live-action 'Hulk' movies. Blood and death abound, and there aren't any lessons to offset it.
With its dull animation, weak voice acting and uninspired dialog, 'Planet Hulk' may not reach the heights of some of the better titles to come down the line the last few years, but it's a serviceable distraction that should please Hulk fans. For everyone else, mileage may vary.

Hulk becomes supporting in this animation, but I loved the secondary characters, with effective and important presences, highlighting the cute Miek, and continues my eternal dislike for Thor, who makes a little participation, I liked the plot, simple and efficient, one of the best animations of the Hulk , here very fragile and surly, will it be living with Batman?
How I long for a world where this could be live action. A world where Hulk films could get Avatar style budgets and returns. It would be so beautiful. Until that day, I can enjoy the wonderful Marvel Animated films. This is certainly one of their best. It sees the Hulk sent into space and finding his place in the world (another world). We are treated to classic gladiator battles, some excellent supporting characters, and a final battle that doesn't disappoint. It's running time keeps it engaging and fast, mixing the Hulk SMASH! with a little bit of character development. We also get to see Beta Ray Bill being ass kickingly awesome. Overall, a great comic cartoon film with loads of action and wickedness.
Planet Hulk (2010) is a movie I recently watched on Tubi and is also in my DVD collection. The storyline follows the Hulk after he's been banished from Earth and sent to a planet to find new inhabitants that may be better company than humans. He is quickly captured and forced to fight in a colosseum for sport. He reluctantly makes friends with the other combatants and formulates a plan to take down the dictator king. This movie was directed by Sam Liu (Batman: The Killing Joke) and contains the voices of Rick D. Wasserman (Batman: Killing Joke), Sam Vincent (Sausage Party), Lisa Ann Beley (Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed) and Mark Hildreth (The Tudors). The storyline has a good set-up with Iron-man setting the stage of current events. Both the state of Earth as well as War Planet are well depicted. I really enjoyed the animation style for the content also. The voices are well selected and the aliens are entertaining. I also liked that some of the characters in the storyline actually die. Overall this isn't a masterpiece but is a fun viewing. I would score this a solid 6.5-7/10 and recommend seeing it once.

- AnecdotesIn the original comic, Hulk's third opponent in the arena was Silver Surfer. This was changed to Beta Ray Bill due to Silver Surfer's rights being unavailable at the time of production and the crew thought the hammer-wielding Beta Ray Bill would make a better fit on a gladiator world.
- GaffesAfter Beta Ray Bill's obedience disk is destroyed it falls off. It then randomly reappears albeit broken, and disappears.
- Versions alternativesAn edited version was shown on DisneyXD in the United States. Most of the violence had to be toned down, most prominently the scene in which Hulk beats down Beta Ray Bill which was edited to remove the blood.
