Avis à la une
I just finished the first season, skipping a bit. I thought it was a great concept, it really felt like therapy watching it. Very emotional and deeper than expected.
The lead actress is gorgeous and I loved her styling, clothes, hair, makeup etc. In general I thought the whole series was very well styled, the whole aesthetic of the seaside village etc. The music was good too.
Not sure I'll keep watching for the second season but I might. I thought it finished quite well on the first season and it was too much for me emotionally to go on immediately after.
I wasn't expecting any Greek references but there were quite a few so that was interesting too. Overall I enjoyed it and consider it a superior production so I'm glad it was my first Turkish series.

Incredible story to helps us examine more possibilities in the treatment of deadly health issues and the healing of ourselves beyond the medical component. Thank you for this series to help enlighten and encourage those dealing with seemingly impossible circumstances in health issues. Bravo to the talented and beautiful actors who presented it, especially Tuba and Murat for their dramatic roles. Definitely a ten for this health crisis survivor!

Tuba offers us everything that is beautiful and delicate.. wonderful. I always love watching her... and consider her a Hollywood star with her elegant and classy acting.
I enjoyed strong bold storyline, the cast was great and the main actress incredible. Definitely makes you think about how your past effects your present.
I actually found this show (especially the first half of the series) to be really good groundwork for me. My therapist and I had been preparing for some upcoming inner child work. Zaman clearly states that his work is not based in behavioral health, but rather examining the root issues of behavior patterns. For me, this was wonderful to watch (and bounds above American television in terms of addressing behavioral cycles). Like, in American procedureals, there is often a reference to why someone who was molested becomes a molester, themselves. Yeah, we get that. Fine. We are aware of this because we have seen it a billion times on probably every American series. For an eight episode series, this explores root causes of aquaphobia, hand tremors, the acceptance v non-acceptance of infidelity, the desire for love or companionship. Specifically, this show that has some good acting and some melodramatic acting (possibly due to dubbing) made me realize that I don't want to do inner child work right now. I need to do psycho-drama exercises to get to some deeper root causes of why I wash, rinse, repeat! I think that this was just such a raw investigation into why people tend to behave the way we all behave. All the characters are flawed. But, I feel both empathy and, I guess consternation is the best way to describe, for all of the characters. I really like this show. I turned it on to be background noise and got totally enthralled (to the point I am researching Turkey as my next vacation!). But, it became more than background noise. It explores so many issues (mother-adult daughter relationships, body image, gender equality, etc.). No, it's not perfect, but find me a series that is. I wasn't intending on paying attention and I am actually writing a review because this show is compelling.
