Honestly would rate higher if they get rid of Ryan! Guy has a very bad attitude and work ethic and loves to play victim. These guests pay alot of money for luxury therefore it's not up to the chef to 100% decide what they get and don't get. Seems to me he's lazy! I mean who serves a bowl of shellfish with nothing with it? Even basic drive thrus offer options and this is supposed to be luxury. Nothing luxury about his cooking and I'd be furious if I were a client.

If you've seen other below deck shows you may experience some déjà vu but variations in characters locations and scenery give it some life.

I've particularly enjoyed Seeing Australian sites and the scuba diving. There is a couple people on the boat who look for destined for upset and failure, but I hope the show can find some positive drama or twists...

I really enjoyed BDDU! Captain Jason and Aesha are such great leaders! Aesha inspires by being very capable and a lot of fun! This is so important in a job!

Captain Jason leads by example. No arrogance, he is "friends" with the crew and at the same time highly respected (by most of the crew;)). Moreover he has always good advice and constructive feedback.

The rest of the team is also fabolous, of course with some special individuals who bring the irritation and entertainment this kind of show needs.

Can't wait for season 2, hopefully with Jason and Aesha! So keep up the great attitude and just be yourselves!

BD Down Under is far and away the best one! We've watched all the BD versions. Sure it's silly, but the purpose of entertainment is having that great escape! While we enjoy all the versions, the others seem to be sinking lower and lower into just being mean to people. Too much of that in this world already. Loved how positive this one is! Captain Jason is such a good guy, and it was great seeing how much he truly cared about his crew. Last episode good-byes were the best! So nice to see a Chief stew who gets that you get the most out of people by treating them well. Well done!

I never post anything anywhere... but I can't stop thinking about it and wanted to somehow say to the producers/staff, capitan and remaining crew that I am so proud to be a fan of your show. Your reactions and descisions were beautiful and moving to watch. I don't know the right words exactly but I just want to say...Excellent jobs in protecting one another and having no tolerance for sexual misconduct and non-consent. Hopefully this is a wake-up call for individuals to think and behave better next time but this type of tv inspires and reinforces much needed cultural change in display of your positive models. Wonderful work you all!!!

Benny has got to be the most Irritating person I have ever seen, and it's so sad the captain can't see how he behaves. Benny is there for a good time, not to work! Sorry he lost his parents, but that's no reason to be so incompetent. His defiance is outright disrespectful! Should have been gone a long time ago.

Magda is terrible, She should have stayed at home with her boyfriend. Aesha is delightful, but that long drawl drives me insane. Tumi is a pleasant surprise. There aren't many people of color in this industry, and I really think she handles her self well. She works hard, and I like the fact she has her chief stews back.

Ryan is just terrible! He is the worst chef I have seen. He's worst than Chef Leon!

I love this show and the connections (and, disconnections!) of all the crew under Captain Jason's regime; however, I would like to comment that viewers (like me) who are into fashions of the rich and/or famous would love to get more of a birdseye view of the outfits the guests on the yacht are choosing to wear! In the latest season, they barely shoot "whole outfits", instead just "portrait" shots, or shots while all guest are seated at the table, and we can't fully appreciate the beautiful fashions the women are wearing! Can you work on that??

I realize it's a reality show and everything can't be seen, but it would help to slooooooooow down the shots and changes in camera angles a tad...thanks!

The captain is hot but he has really bad lower teeth.

I believe the captain had a clear duty to address Benny and stop telling Jamie to deal with it. If Jamie could have threatened Benny's job like the captain did with chef, then maybe but he doesn't have that power. I blame the captain. There's absolutely no respect for the captain. He acts more like crew. The chef,Magda and Benny shouldn't have went any further than 3 charters. Every other captain knows what's going on, why doesn't this one? We are dealing with a bunch of entitled lazy children. And none of the deckhands knew what they were doing at the beginning. I watched the other below deck series and maybe 1 isn't that experienced but not all of them. Then you get Benny trying to be boss man. Typical attitudes of today. No one wants to put the years in, they got a trophy even when they lost. It's horrible to lose a loved one but no excuse to disrespect the chain of command. Benny was there for fun and an easy vacation he got paid for. And everyone else got to do his work.

If I paid all that money and got that service I would want a refund. It's a luxury yacht, this is the job you chose, do it.

I'll keep this brief; from micromanaging members of the crew to belittling deckhands, to "testing" the crew when angry, Captain Jason strips Below Deck of being able to enjoy the typical struggles other crews have experienced in the Below Deck franchise.

The episodes are quite underwhelming, the chef under performs(and brags about it) and the entire team are noobies. The captain is uninteresting despite being the most attractive captain they've had yet.

Same ol' same ol' - tired format, redundant personality types, same scenarios. Even a good looking cast and pretty location can't make this interesting because we have seen it all before ... over and over and over again. Standard Bravo - stay inside the box and regurgitate the formula ad nauseam.

Fantastic capitan, and Aesha improved a lot But should know better. No chief stew quality.

Chef was the worst till date

2sd series will be a disaster with the Australian dru... and annoying chief steward.

... at the end of the season of Below-Deck-productions they have these 'reunion' episodes... what I'd really like to see is an episode how the cast-crew get selected to start with, and how it's possible some of these complete-crew-misfits get hired to-start-with... conflict-controversy-sells, yet-not-appealing-viewing ... only toward S1-ending with-couple-fresh-replacements did this show enjoyably-come-together... should have been several-episodes-earlier.. as proficient-managers-leaders would have made happen

... 07.18.23 - just "reality"-yacht-productions would be hiring-onboard certain of these individuals ... no-one in real-life-management-positions would be putting up with most any of what's being promoted for this upcoming series... it's getting very boring

... 08.13.23 - last show just horrible... filming these "kids"... all acting like immature teenagers, as they go out getting fall-down-drunk... then one refuses time-again being stopped as he attempts assaulting another crew-member as she's passed-out in her bunk is just-disgusting-abhorred... episode ends TBC... next episode should be him being fired, thrown off the boat (and reported)... let's just see what actually happens 'on-film'

... 09.24.23 - season two over w/o-'reunion'-episode, so no learning about what happened after with one of the most-unlikely-hookups of Below Deck franchise... the girl that shoulda-been-a-model rather-than-a-stew, and well whatever he is... show's-season all about getting blind drunk after every charter, becoming de rigueur for this boat's-crew, leading to stupid-behavior-all-round... getting a break much needed for all.
