The Downside of the "Anyone Can Make a Movie" Era

We live in an age where absolutely anyone has access to editing and effects software and some kind of a video camera, where anyone can "make their own movie" and even post it online or on YouTube for anyone to see it. That can be a very great thing, when that movie turns out to be a good one. But it can also be a truly awful thing when that movie turns out to be truly awful, which is sadly the case with "Frankenpimp," a movie that I only bothered watching online because I was under the impression it was a sequel to (or at least had something to do with) the popular cult film "Frankenhooker." That's obviously an assumption the filmmaker of this piece of garbage was hoping people would make, to trick us into watching this unfortunate piece of garbage. This "movie" if you can even call it that is just a way too long (it feels like about six hours) and incredibly amateurish jaunt down one "filmmaker's" egotistical lane. There is nothing worth seeing in this movie other than a couple attractive girls. One gets the impression this "filmmaker" just threw something together in an attempt to get girls to show him some skin. The same guy wrote/directed/produced/starred which is always a dead giveaway for it not being any kind of real movie. If anyone involved in making this movie sees this: please retire, this "movie" was a travesty on every level.

Not Fun Bad, Just Bad - NOT related to Frankenhooker!

I was tricked into watching this by the Frankenpimp title which makes it seem as though this is a sequel or spin off of the funny and actually well conceived and professionally done cult classic Frankenhooker which is obviously this film maker's intention.

It is also obvious just seconds into this amateurish turd that it is not related to Frankenhooker or any real film ever made. I wish that movie's producers would sue this fool but I'm sure it is not worth it considering this movie probably made like 37 cents.

That's one dollar minus the 63 cents it cost to make this boring turd

It is not edited at all. Shot on an old VHS camcorder I think.

The sound is garbage. The acting and script are worse.

This is the most pathetic home made pile of slop posing as a "movie" I have ever seen.

Plus the Watt goof who makes this crap posts like a million things about himself. Fake movie titles and shows he claims are " in production". Like a video of his cat in his dirty apartment he shot on his phone listed as a TV series and pretending the budget is $100,000 who you fooling man? Haha. At least that is entertaining, even though it is in a way he didn't intend.

He also promotes himself on the message boards and his "by popular demand" books etc... he interviews himself on his "talk show" begging people to buy his book? And the only comments are people like me asking him to stop. Also he listed himself as a cast member of the "Suicide Squad".

Get a life man and stop pretending to be a movie, TV and book tycoon.
