characters and character development are just perfect and humor content in dialogs are so dense that you find your mouth constantly smiling and laughing. unfortunately, in another language the show may lose a lot of its specialties. However, even though you have a chance to watch it with subtitles, just watch it.

however going through weeks, they lost the spirit of the show. i think producers should learn to make 23 minute sitcoms instead of 90 min. so sad! this show could stay forever as a legendary sitcom for Turks

We were students in school and we loved this series very much.

The generic music was great.

10 days ago Genis Aile made its final episode.The series should be a mini-series for summer but its turned a very popular TV series since first episode.Incredible and unique dialogs,great writer,a lot of great characters,great cast made the show a phenomenon and the show made more than 100 episodes.More than that,Genis Aile one of the a few shows to one episode,one event.I know its usual thing on American shows but not turkey.A lot of Turkish series is like this one event,3-5 episodes but Genis Aile couldn't keep the quality for a long time.A few characters left the show.Character named Ulvi and Sevim done very bad job on the show.One writer must write 100 minutes for every week a few thing more but at least Genis Aile still one of the Turkish show which i still watching(Leyla İle mecnun,5'er Beser,Behzat Ç.,Bizim Yenge).But channel canceled show and Genis Aile made its final but still Genis Aile left us more than 100 episodes which we can watch and laugh.

Turkish Television History's best comedy TV Series is Geniş Aile. I don't see more funny. The TV Series's lead actress Ufuk Özkan is best Turk comedy actor. TV series's actors is Ufuk Özkan, Fırat Tanış, Zuhal Topal, Rojda Demirer, Hale Caneroğlu, Mehmet Polat, Ahmet Sarsılmaz, Ayşegül Uygurer, Zeyno Günenç, Rasim Öztekin, Mine Teber, Ali Tutal, Sevim Gelenbe, Bihter Dinçel, Bülent Çolak, Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu, Betül Arım, Bora Akkaş, Gizem Akman, Ahmet Can Alioğlu, Tolga Canbeyli, Aytar Kakınç, Esvet Şahin, Emel Çölgeçen, Azra Akın, Halil Kumova, Mustafa Uzunyılmaz, Yakup Yavru, İlker Ayrık, Tanju Tuncel, Halit Akçatepe, Ege Engin Çıray, Berat Efe Parlar, Gizem Denizci and other all with guest appearances they create a great team. I wish you continued success.

A series from my childhood... Sitting by the stove with my family, watching Genis Aile while it snowed outside in winter. It was one of the best things we could do.

During its original run, Genis Aile delivered top-tier comedy. Every episode and every scene was full of clever humor.

From Kuddusi Baba to Devir Abi, and even Bilal's father Ekber Amca...

You might ask, with so many main characters, why mention someone like Ekber Amca or Devir Abi? That's the key point. Every character in this series was unique. Even the cheeky father-son banter between Bilal and his dad could carry the show on its own. Honestly, just Bilal alone was like a one-man theater.

This clearly shows how important rich character writing is. All the characters were original and memorable. Cuneyt Inay truly showed his mastery in this area.

Another point I want to highlight is the music. It's 2025, and we still don't have an official release of the show's soundtrack. There should have been an official album by now. But no, nothing has been done. The melodies played on the clarinet still echo in my ears. It was a brilliant musical score. Not having access to the music of such a legendary series is a big loss. I wish I had spoken up about this back when the show was still airing.

Some series are unforgettable. Genis Aile is one of them. A show that deserves pages of reviews and discussions.
