Avis à la une
This movie is so good and very cleverly written and well-made. The shots from the film are good and the storyline is well-paced. It most definitely is worth the watch and I can tell that it took passion, time, and commitment to finish this film. The final product is amazing and I cannot wait for, hopefully, more like this. I love thriller films and this one was so innovative and creative. The synopsis itself was an interesting premise and the movie delivered. I think that the way the story is structured is super interesting and rewards the viewer for paying attention to details. Again, very well written and excellent job!

This film was very wonderfully done in every way imaginable-from the direction, to the lighting, to the acting. Although, there was little to no action involved, the dialogue alone was enough to keep me gripped from start to finish. The relationship between the two owners of the tech start-up is akin to two parents fighting over how to raise their children. Should they allow the children to leave the nest, so to speak, to learn and thrive on their own? Or should they continue watching over them personally to ensure their growth is optimal? I'm used to watching films that allow me to turn my brain off and just consume the content, but this one had me thinking the whole way through. It was quite a welcome change of pace! I have never seen a Smart Business Film prior to this one, but this one has certainly made me very intrigued by the genre. Kudos to all the cast and crew involved in the creation of this wonderful film!
There's a TED talk of the director of Finding Nemo Andrew Stanton talking about storytelling and how audiences like to be given the pieces and not necessarily the finished answer. So in his example, he called it the rule of 2 + 2. Give the audience 2 and 2 -- they'll figure out that it equals four and be happy they figured it out.
This film puts that to the test. All the pieces are there but it takes till the midway point until they start fitting together. This makes for an uneven first half until you figure out what's going on. Then it picks up but doesn't stop being choppy and jarring at times.
It's the writing that carries this film even to its detriment. If you're fine watching a bunch of people talking, then it's great, but the writing never gets a chance to breathe with moments where you can think about what's happening.
Ten stars because I was super impressed with how the story was told and would love for this structure to get used more beyond just a business drama like this. I probably will have to rewatch this a time or two more to catch everything.
The filmmaking backing up all of that writing is simple, but nothing special -- it all comes down to this film being a screenwriter showing out.

This film reminded me a lot of Memento with the crazy complex structure - it makes sense and the end and ends the story in a really cool place I haven't seen before but it didn't make a lot of sense until then. I think I figured it out around the 50 minute mark and then it was a fun ride from then on out. But get zoned in because if you miss the first few minutes, it's just hard to catch up. The story has a lot of computer terms but seems to make sense to someone without a lot of knowledge of that. So overall solid film with a lot of cool stuff but it really comes down to a lot of people talking - kinda like a play but a play that only works through the medium of film. Gotta rewatch this to get my thoughts together...
Ratings seem fake. Movie is actually a bad production with bad actors and a poor story. It first had a rating of 9.5 now its gone down to 7.5 i bet if i check in half a year its gonna be down to 3 point sonething.

I had to copy paste my review to get the minimum required characters. Still have to write 85 of them. Jeezus this boring. 50 now. Ok hey why does a review require a minimum anyways?
