Max Steals the show

Max (Oliver Alexander) is the one to look out for in the future. He brings some high caliber acting to the show. Something that seems to be lacking in some of the older actors from the original show. I predict big things for Oliver Alexander's future. Not sure of his background but it is obvious he is a trained actor.

Missing Real Characters

This show is scrubbed clean of any real latinx experience. They are shells of characters. It feels like a Disney-fied version of what used to have more value. Sad.

Another unnecessary reboot

Real disappointed i use to love this show as a child. And as a real Mexican American. This feels very unreal and washed. Nothing authentic to the latin culture very forced. Even showed my kids and they felt like it was too cheesy. Hope it gets a reality check before its too late.

The reboot I didn't know I needed

I loved the original show as a kid so of course I just HAD to check out the reboot and I'm so glad I did. I'm 7 episodes into the first season and so far so good! I love that it's family friendly and they brought back all of the main cast. I'm hoping for a season 2!

Almost succeeds but for some missing magic

Many of the elements of the show, even some of the more corny and stereotypical ones work well on the surface.

But I just can't put my finger on why the parts don't quite make up the whole.

Sometimes a show just doesn't have that magic spark that lifts it from good to great, even though what that magic is can't quite be accurately pinpointed.
