Anecdotes
The basic concept was originally made as a short entitled Road to Hell 3 (2008) for the Bloodshots 48 hour film contest put on by FantasticFest. The filmmakers enjoyed the concept so much that they decided to flesh it out into a feature that was filmed the following spring with many of the actors reprising their roles from the short.
