Loving the protagonist is not hard but seeing him suffer is enduring agony !!

He just gets to you in the most beautiful way Please keep a whole tissue box handy as you will be crying a lot !!!!!

It's a movie I will never forget.

Maybe the plot isn't the most original thing, however it had the perfect formula to make me cry my eyeballs out. Visually was very simple but pleasant and was so easy to like the male character, that even knowing what was coming I couldn't stop myself from crying a little bit too much.

During the screening period, I saw many friends boasting. I bought tickets for the first time after returning to Beijing. It's really good-looking. When the big brother in debt falls in love with the bank clerk in debt, what will he look like? Arrogant and domineering in the whole world, he will only be gentle to the people he loves. Unfortunately, beautiful love can never escape the tease of fate. This once arrogant man only asks for a minute's hug in front of his beloved woman. Maybe it's also because of the recent state of mind. Seeing such a story makes tears. In front of women, men are always the slowest to mature. Maybe they will know how to cherish when they lose. As a successful localized film, it is worth carefully analyzing the details of creation.

Yin Chen-Hao's well-paced remake film got predictable beats but still offered alluring journey of happiness and sorrow. Roy Chiu again proved his versatility here. Together with Hsu, they delivered heartfelt romance on-screen that anyone could shed a tear to.

My emotion fluctuate a lot when watching this, happy to sad. Didn't watch good romance from tw a while and this definitely a good one. I always say Taiwan style is very unique and such atmosphere just only Taiwan can make it. Even a romance drama can feel the texture in it. Really waiting a movie from Taiwan can go Oscar.

I've never expected to be cried a lot yet this movie made me.

It is very rare that a remake is better than the original but in this case it is true! The Thai remake of this movie called 'Love you to debt' from 2024 is fantastic compared to this Korean original. The remake flows better in terms of storyline, it has actual chemistry between the two leads, it is easier to understand as the plot develops, it is better in so many ways. I am a huge fan of Korean moves and I wanted to love this movie but unfortunately the plot was difficult to follow/understand and there is no chemistry between the two leads! It falls flat, despite a good story. I didn't like it.

Let me start off by saying this ... the plot is not as original and I have seen this plot of the movie before.. the story line is nothing new to me but I can praise the performance of everybody that is involved and the dedication the crew put in to make this movie.

The thing is the movie just felt like forever should have ended half an hour earlier... sorry to say snore fest for me.

Holy smokes this suprised me out nowhere, what a unique love story, it's sad,but also hopeful, beautiful filmed, damn good!!! Acted from all, the interactions between then all seem real and genuine , the music very fiting and beautiful, it has high and lows, even some good action, its funny at times,this movie is what many movies try to be without being cheesy ,or Pushing to hard, absolutely a fine movie that surprised me!

I love this sweet, funny, tender, beautiful film. The cast is excellent, with Roy Chiu of course outstanding.

A movie that doesn't shy away from the everyday life in Taiwan, it tells a very longwinded love story.

It's established that our main character is debt collector with a heart of gold by showing his acts of kindness despite his line of work. It is then shown over and over again to really get you to understand he's a good guy. The stonefaced love interest and him go through the struggles of a relationship between a debt collector and a debtor for a very long time with a constant melancholic piano playing in the background.

The movie moves along like this for what feels like an eternity, with each scene repeating the same sentiment continuously until there's an ending. It doesn't feel like a conclusion but it is an ending. Overly dramatic and wandering at times, this movie is a chore to sit through. Props to Roy for trying his hardest in this.

If not for the acting, this movie would be much lower in the totem pole. What a fantastic cast of actors from top to bottom. The overall mood and setting is also brilliant. However, the story just didn't hit my tear nodes. A relationship that never really made sense since the very beginning coupled with some very questionable decision making ends up with an even more confusing ending that simply saddles the female lead with a bunch of responsibilities. Outside of a few dialogues, their relationship is also not very well illustrated. The dialogue is full of shades of Korean soap drama that's tried and tested, and this is simply one of the million.

I didn't know it was a remake of a South Korean movie, but the movie will make you cry a river. I have seen some brilliant Asian romantic movies but, this is something else. The movie deserves Oscars for direction and acting. Yin Chen-Hao beautifully kept the audience emotional throughout the movie and Tiffany Hsu acting was just brilliant. Top movie of 2021!

A pretty good film that reminds us of love in life as well as family and the path of life's purpose, the acting of the main character is good, very deep in the role, the script is good, the storyline is not boring, the story is touching and can even make you cry the best thing for me is, the female lead very nice to see haha.

I was very surprised with this movie. It is beautiful, emotional, sad but sometimes funny.

Flawed and therefore human. I absolutely loved it. The plot is unique, the romance story is very weird, but guess what? Weird in the best way possible. The actors did an amazing job (I was very happy to find out, upon googling, that the leads fell in love and got married in real life).

I will recommend this and hope for more quality movies like this one, which are rare to find, nowadays. I won't spoil anything but be prepared for a few tears but also many smiles.

What else can be written? Bravo!! Very good!!

I really enjoyed this movie and was so impressed by the acting especially Roy Chiu. Really caught the time periods well too . As someone that's in my 50s I appreciated their attention to detail . A really good film .

This movie is my favourite. I have re-watched it 3 times or more because it's THAT good. If you want a good day or have a moment for yourself just watch this. It gives you many things: 1.its funny 2.its ROMANTIC.

3.you'll cry because of the sadness 4.the actors are so good looking!

There's a line in the movie, "You think that's what you owe me?". That's the one line that breaks me everytime.

And lastly I want you to Google the actors NOT NOW but after watching the movie. You'll have a surprise and it's a happy one.

It's the first Time for me watching Taiwan movie.... I didn't even watch the original Korean version (even i am a huge fan of Korean movies and series) ....the actors were just incredible... They make you forget that's a movie...the love is Real WE Can feel it deeply...happy to watch such a movie ....been a Long Time that i didn't cry for a movie (hot tears)

It is the classic cliche of a romance drama but the acting and screenplay that animated the story was magic. Roy Chiu as usual brings more to the platter than expected. It is definitely a good watch which tugs at your heartstrings.

The cutest story, loved both of the protagonists. Daddy-daughter af. And the fact that the leading couple is married irl. So freakin good.

Roy Chiu is so cute and good in this and so was Tiffany Hsu. ONE TRUE PAIRING!!!!! I loved all the character arcs in between the characters. My eyes were swollen after this and my body was shaking as i cried to this. Why do bad boys turning good for a girl just get me invested. I watched the korean version before and it was also really good so i knew the story would slay. But the eye candy in the taiwanese version was so much better. Sorry Hwang Jungmin bae💋💋💋
