L'Arome de l'amour

It gets really boring after around 15 episodes, won't be able to stand until the end. The protagonist acts horribly and this is a plain cliche, extra cheesy.

I'm in episode 24, so far so good, the novel has different collateral stories but are also connected each other so you never get bored and the story flows naturally. The acting is really good and the casting is excellent. I can't remember any story that dig so deep in my heart, I want to get inside the TV to give a big hug to Gaviota and her mum, Gaviota signing is also very nice, her voice is very soft and warm. I really understand Sebastian, I'm deeply in love with Gaviota too, and everything is so unfair so far with them that I wish I could fast forward the novel to get the end as soon as possible, but in the other hand I don't want this novel ends up, it is really great. Congratulations Colombia and thank you for this great story.

I loved the beginning of this telenovela, the mood of the cafetales was great and I was really happy with Levy's return. After finishing it, however, I think that something was going in behind the set between the 2 main protagonists, I think they were not getting along, as there were alot of episodes in this novela, where they don't have any interactions, this is not normal for a telenovela. The main love story is almost forgotten. The mother of Sebastian and Ivan is the most dumb annoying racist and homophobic character I've ever seen. The love scenes lacked passion and were cut very short in my opinion and with comparison with other telenovelas of William Levy Tempestad and Sortilegio, big dissapointment there. The main theme song sang by Gaviota is very repetitive, as well as for the few other songs. I felt the pace was bad, the ending felt very rushed, however, in the middle of the novela, barely anything happened for entire episodes at the time.

Although I feel they could have chosen a better actress for the role of his mother, I absolutely LOVED the novela and the storyline. It has me wanting to binge watch and now I can't find Season 2. Where is Season 2? SMH.

Okay, If you are getting into the telenovela world. Welcome! Telenovelas are pretty popular in Latin America, and this remake makes absolute justice to the original 1990s series. Telenovelas are generally a one-shot, so you probably wont see a second season, so enjoy while it lasts.

May we speak about their chemistry and handsome and heart-stopping smile? My God, boy is he pretty. Their scenes together are just out of this world. Whenever there is a love story, you will find me there, and it got every single flavour to make it amazing.

At some points, I felt it was a bit too long, but the last episodes, it was worth the wait.

Long live Telenovelas!
